The next morning I woke up and got ready for school. Only a 3 day week cause of Thanksgiving. I threw on my red Elmo shirt and blue skinny jeans with my Retro 3s Crimsons. When I was finished getting ready, I woke Chris up and we took off. Keaira said she was getting a ride from Dion. I decided I was gonna have to put my dreams to rest for Chris and the baby. I didn't want to, but that's what it came down to. Chris told me I needed to stop being so stubborn, but we all know that ain't gonna stop.

"Aight bae, I'ma pick you up later." Chris said

"Okay."

"Have a good day." He said pecking my lips a few times

"I'ma let that slide." I said kissing him

"Let me? You better, before I tear that ass up." He said laughing

"You ain't gon do nothing." I said

"We'll see."

"Well, I gotta get going. Stay by your phone." I said getting out the car

"Aight." I heard him say

I walked into school and went to my locker. I got my things together and then headed to class.

"Ms. Williams, you've been absent lately. Is everything okay?" Asked my teacher Mrs. Johnson

"Everything is okay. Just been dealing with a lot." I said

"Well, a bright woman like you who is smart, athletic, and very beautiful, shouldn't be putting themselves in this position."

"I understand. Can I go? I do have other classes."

"Go ahead." She sighed

I went on to my next class, History, and we were partnered up with people. I got partnered up with Dwayne.

"Hey beautiful." He smiled

"Hey."

"How's your day?"

"Fine."

"That's good. How's Chris?"

"He's fine."

"That's good. So ya'll come on an agreement yet?"

"Yeah, I'm putting my dreams to rest."

"What? Something wrong. Chris must've bribed you, or something." He said laughing

"Not really."

"Somebody must've been getting it in." He said laughing some more

"Dwayne, shush." I said embarrassed from his loud talking

"My bad Lexi."

"Yeah, you're bad." I said

"So, got any names yet? I mean you a month and some weeks now."

"Well Chris wants to name him Kaleb if he is a boy, I want to name him Christian. If she's a girl then I wamt to name her Makayla, he wants to name her Mariah."

"Well why don't you name him, Kaleb and make his middle name Christian?"

"I haven't thought about that really."

"Well, think about it."

"I will. How did the apartment hunt go?"

"It went well, actually I found a place and I'm moving in this weekend."

"That's good. I'm happy for you."

"Now only thing left is that lucky girl." He said

Now, to straighten things out. Dwayne has been trying to get with me since the first day of school. Chris knows about him and I made it clear with him that me and Dwayne are just friends, but even though Dwayne constantly flirts and sends me signs that he wants to be with me, he doesn't push it. He's my male bestfriend and is always there for me.
