The three siblings immediately made themselves at home in Lory's office. Ella sat down without waiting to be asked while the twins raided Lory's secret mini fridge.
"How do you know about my secret mini fridge?"
The twins smiled, winked, and slouched down next to their sister. "What's this meeting about?"
Ren smiled widely and said, "Important LME business."
The twins' faces immediately changed from carefree to slightly terrified. 'It's like they know,' thought Yashiro, 'what Ren's smiles really mean.'
"Sorry, we didn't mean to interrupt a Heel Siblings meeting. We thought it would be close to over with by now," said Eric. Ella reached over and hit her brother on the back of the head. "We're not supposed to know about the Heel Siblings, remember?"
Lory asked, "How do you know about the Heel Siblings?"
The twins replied, "We have our sources." Then they ducked before Ella could hit them.
"What my brothers mean to say, is that our knowledge of the Heel Siblings comes from how we got here. Which we still can't tell you."
Lory eye-balled them, and decided they were interesting and could stay. The rest of the meeting was rather uneventful. At the end, the twins started jumping up and down saying, "Ren-san, can we go with you? Oh please! We'd just love to see you at work! We promise to be good and stay out of your way."
"Sorry," said Ren, "but I have a busy day, and don't really have time for you to tag along, right Yashiro?"
"That's right. We actually should be going now, or we'll be late."
"Maybe next time," said Ren to the twins.
"It's fine. We'll just go with Ky-san!"
"I only have one job after this, but you can go if you want. Afterwards, I can make the three of you supper!"
"That sounds lovely, Ky-san. Thank you for inviting us to your house," replied Ella.
"Yes, thank you Ky-san!" Then the twins ran and gave her a big hug. "This will be so much fun!"
