Hello to all of the readers! Thank you so much for the encouragement that you've been offering me :D I know I have been terrible with updating regularly, but I just recently finished my final exams and needed a while to reset myself.
Regardless, this is an extra long chapter dedicated to all of you! Hope you enjoy it!
And also, Happy New Year!! I pray the coming year is full of laughter and joy for every one of you! Take care, and keep reading <3
Lots of love, Hinal :)

"Hey Sanyu! If you are free tonight, would you like to come over for dinner? I want you to meet someone!"
"That sounds good, but Parth, who is this someone?" I questioned him, oblivious to any reason of why he'd want me to meet anyone.
"She's someone special Sanyu," he added, a tone of happiness lacing his voice.
I could tell this was important to him, and so I agreed. "Umm... I have a project to work on and have to give a status update before 6pm. But I guess I can probably make it by 7!"
As soon as those words slipped out, I thought of Riaan... I hadn't been able to spend time with him ever since I started the internship and I wasn't sure if Parth would be okay with me bringing him. But this was Parth I was talking about; my best friend. It was almost as if he knew exactly what I was thinking even after all these years. "And listen, bring Riaan too. I'd love to meet him!"
I smiled, "I'll bring him along!"
Although I wanted him to meet Parth, I was now thinking about the one I was supposed to meet at dinner. Hesitantly, I added, "Parth, but what about..." not knowing what to say.
"Don't worry, she'd love to meet him as well!"
"Okay then, sounds good! I'll pick up Riaan after work and come over to yours. See you tonight!"
"Perfect, see you later!" he hung up the phone.
It was nice to have things somewhat back in normalcy once again. Setting my phone down, I began working on the assignment once again. I had already covered a few major aspects on one of the companies, and decided to read the fine print of all their deals from the past couple of years.

*Hey Randhir, I actually can't go out tonight... Something else just came up. Mind if we go out for drinks tomorrow night?* Parth messaged me.
*Yea of course, no worries. Let me know when you finish work tomorrow and we'll decide something*
*Cool*

"Randhir, she's going to give me the updates tonight. Do you also want her to submit the report to you?"
"No it's okay. You take care of this whole project until the time she has to give her presentation for the full report. I'll only pitch in if I think there's something extra that needs to be covered."
Vishal left my cabin, and I resumed my work. It was only after a while that I noticed a letter on my desk with no name on it.
I called Avantika into my cabin, "Do you know who left this here?" pointing to the unnamed envelope.
"No Sir, actually it was on my desk with a sticky that read Deliver this to Mr. Shekhawat please. I assumed it must have been an associate who left it, and so I put it on your desk."
