*Author's Note* I am going to make another story, its going to be awesome so be sure to check that out. I think I'm going to title it, Sightless. Thanks to everybody who read my story, your awesome but be sure to vote, comment, and keep reading!

I stretched and sat up.

Where am I?

Then I remembered, I was running away from Midnight Eclipse. Everything from yesterday came back to me in one jumbled mess.

I groaned inwardly and got up, my muscles felt sore from running so long yesterday but I didn't mind. I had other things to worry about.

Like how am I getting out of here?

I looked around the room, it was small but somehow like home. The walls were a warm beige color and the bed had a soft, white comforter covering it. A dresser sat against the wall opposite of the bed and a door beside it which led to the bathroom.

I heard people chatting nonchalantly downstairs along with the shuffling of feet.

Another glance around the room revealed a window. I strode over to it, all the while my wolf was whimpering and pleading for me not to go. Then she'd growl and threaten me before going back to pleading.

Bi polar, much? I growled to my wolf. Now shut up, I need to focus.

She let out a low growl before becoming silent.

I opened the window and poked my head out. The fall wasn't bad enough to hurt a werewolf. If I were human I might actually break a leg or something but werewolves were much tolerant and could take a good fall without getting too badly hurt.

I climbed up onto the window sill and jumped before I could talk myself out of it.

I landed on my feet and without a second thought, I took off running to the woods.

I decided not to shift because if I ran into a patrol when I was shifted then they could take that as a threat and the last thing I needed right now is a fight.

******************

I felt like I'd been running for hours. My legs ached so I slowed to a stop. How big is their frickin' territory?! I could still smell their pack scent strong here.

That's when I heard a patrol to my right.

My heart began to race and I jumped in a nearby bush, luck was with me because the wind changed direction and began to blow toward me. That meant I could smell them but they couldn't smell me. I sighed in relief.

The group of five werewolves passed right by me. Too caught up in their conversation to notice me.

"Yeah, these rouges are dangerous, they put a lot of our wolves in the hospital. Including my mate." One blonde haired boy growled. He began to shake slightly.

A dark haired boy put a reassuring hand on his shoulder and coaxed him, "Calm down Anthony. Macy will make a full recovery. She fought well." The blonde, Anthony, only nodded briskly before speeding up his walk.

I thought about what they said. How could a bunch of rouge's escape being captured for this long. Packs usually have the rouge problem under control. Odd.

When the group's scent faded away, I exited the bushes, picking stray leaves off my clothes and dark brown hair then continued on my way.

Alpha Cullen. The name sent shivers down my back again and my heart sped up. My wolf was trying to get me to go back again.

No. Alpha Cullen means nothing to me. I said to my wolf. She let out a vicious growl at that.

Don't ever talk like that about our mate. She growled fiercely.

That made me stop in my tracks. Mate? It had just hit me. No wonder my wolf was acting like this. I needed to get back to him or else we could both die if we didn't get to each other within four weeks.

Then an unfamiliar scent reached me, pulling me away from my thoughts.

I looked around cautiously. The hair on the back of my neck stood up.

Then I saw one wolf step out of the brush, followed by another, then another. Until I was surrounded by seven at least.

These were the rouge's that the patrol was talking about. Well, nevermind dying from being away from my mate. Looks like I'm going to die here.

*Author's Note* Sorry the chapter is so short, I was in a hurry. I'll be sure to make the next one longer!
