Shift! My wolf shouted. I quickly obeyed and in an instant, I was a silver wolf.

Wolf or not, there was no way I was going to survive this.

The first wolf let out a fierce growl. I knew I had to strike first, I wasn't going down without a fight.

I pounced at the wolf and in seconds he had me pinned to the ground. My eyes widen, I felt the air rush out of me. Yup, this one has Alpha Blood. I groaned in pain and I was finally able to breath. I saw the other wolves make a move forward but the Alpha flicked his tail and they stopped.

He seemed distracted so I guessed he was using the mind-link to communicate to the pack. I took this time and place my back paws on his soft stomach and with a strong launch upward, I had him roll head over heels off of me.

I jump to my paws and once again pounced on him, this time he was slower and I landed squarely on his chest. Let me take control! My wolf growled and I obeyed. She seemed like she knew what she was doing.

I dig my claws into his body to latch on and clamp my fangs around his neck. The Alpha gave a growl of anger and shook me off as if I was as light as a feather. The growls of the rest of the pack gain both the Alpha and my attention towards them. They weren't looking at us, I followed their gaze and saw Aaron and who I assumed was Alpha Cullen followed by the rest of their pack.

I couldn't help the relief that washed over me but then I felt like I had an anchor strapped on my neck when Alpha Cullen glanced at me, his eyes emotionless and black.

Apparently the other Alpha I was fighting had no honor and while my back was turned, I felt his claws dig into my back. Everything set back into motion. On instinct I rolled onto my back to dislodge the wolf.

Then pain hit me and it took most of my strength not to yelp. As soon as the pain appeared, it was gone.

My head tilted back to watch as Aaron ripped him from my back and the two wolves spared each other. I knew this was my chance to escape the battlefield but when I started something, I had to finish it.

I turned and caught a wolf by surprise while he and another wolf circled each other. It took no time at all until the wolf ran off, yelping.

I still got it. I couldn't help but smile at my wolf. She had the oddest sense of humor.

I felt jaws grab my back paw and a whimper escaped my lips. I twisted and swiped desperately in order to free myself.

Yes! My claws came into contact with a muddy brown wolf's nose.

He back up, wrinkling his snout then his black eyes zeroed in on me and he let out a snarl. I took a step back when he moved forward.

His tail swished back and forth and he leapt at me. I side stepped and he stumbled but quickly righted himself and we both launched at each other. Clashing in the air and I twisted so I'd land on him when we fell. It worked and he froze as the air escaped his lungs. I quickly finished him off and shook out my fur.

By now I had many scrapes and bruises. Two major wounds, one on my neck and one on my leg. Well, that's gonna hurt to heal.

When I looked around, I saw that almost all the rouge's were dead and the others had ran off.

Their pack all came together to inspect each other's wounds and I watched them, feeling left out.

You should feel left out. They aren't your pack.

Alpha Cullen stepped toward me, his eyes still black. He dropped some clothes at my paws. I had dreaded this moment but nodded and picked up the clothes and found a large tree to change behind.
