Chapter 4: Dinner at the Sartorius's (part 2)

Jacob's pov

"Jacob. Dinner is ready!" Called my mom.

Perfect. Right on time cause this was getting awkward.

We all walked downstairs and ate and talked out all the details. After dinner my mom said that Lauren's parents are going to stay for a while and we can go downstairs and watch a movie.

Mark, Lauren, and I all walked downstairs together.

"So what movie are we watching?" Asked Lauren.

"Insideous 3" Mark shouted.

"Sure." Jacob said

"I don't know" said Lauren. "I don't like scary movies."

"Don't worry I'll be right here for you." I told her.

"Ok. I guess." Lauren said.

We all sat down on the couch. It went Mark, Lauren, then me. The movie started with a scary scene and Lauren jumped. I stretched my arm around her and she looked at me and smiled. We kept watching the movie and another scary part cam and she buried her head into my chest. She looks so beautiful. She started shivering.

" You cold?" I asked Lauren.

"Just a little." She said.

I took off my hoodie which left me shirtless, and gave it to Lauren. She just kept looking at me.

"Like what you see?" I asked Lauren.

"Guess so." She said.

Lauren's pov

Jacob looks so cute without a shirt. That was so nice of him to give me his sweatshirt. Uh oh. Another scary part. I jumped and Jacob grabbed me and held me tighter. I looked up at him and he started leaning in for a kiss. Already. Wait Lauren. You have had a crush on him since kindergarten. I leaned in too. We kissed for a good 15 seconds. I felt sparks shimmering through my body. I have never felt this way before. We acted all normal though and went back to watching the movie.

I was really tired and I fell asleep on Jacob's chest.

Jacob's pov

She looked so beautiful sleeping. All of a sudden her parents started walking down the stairs. Oh no! I hope they aren't too strict with boys. They walked around to the front of the couch and saw she was sleeping. Then my parents walked downstairs and saw she was sleeping.

"If you want we don't have to wake her up. She can just spend the night" My mom said to her parents.

"That would be awesome!" Said her mom.

They all walked back upstairs and said goodbye and they left. I am so glad her parents didn't freak out. And I get to spend more time with Lauren. I looked over and Mark and he was sleeping too. I gave Lauren a kiss on the forehead and went to bed right there.
