Chapter 12: Day 2

Lauren's pov

I woke up and Jacob was no where to be seen. Either was Lauren. But what was weird was Mark was still sleeping. I got up and walked down stairs.

"Have you seen a boy about 5'5, brown hair in a quiff, and braces anywhere?" I asked the lady behind the front desk.

"Yes. I do believe so." She said back. "I believe he is in the pool."

Ughhhhh. I had to go all the way upstairs to grab my room key. "Thanks." I told the lady.

I quickly ran back upstairs and grabbed my key and got changed in to my swimsuit.

"Lauren?" Mark asked.

"Goodmorning Mark. Do you know why Jacob went to the pool?" I asked Mark.

"No idea. I think it is best if you just stay up here and wait." Mark said in a voice that sounded like he was hiding something.

"But I have to go see my babe." I said to Mark and went running out the door. I wonder why Mark sounded like he was hiding something. Oh well. I got down to the pool and slid my card in the card slider thing (Idk what it is called.) I walked on to the pool and immediately saw Jacob. Just as I was going to jump in by Jacob a girl popped out of the water and kissed Jacob. Omg! What did I just see. Maybe i was just seeing things.

"Hey babe." the girl told Jacob.

"Hey beautiful." Jacob replied back.

"Jacob, I am just done." I screamed while I ran out of the pool area. I got in the elevator and clicked the third floor button. I started moving up. I was crying so hard. I didn't even know a person could cry so hard. The doors started opening and Jacob was standing there.

"Let me explain." He said. I clicked the close door button as fast as I could and clicked a random floor and ended up on the 14th floor. I got out and went running until I found a corner where they would never find me. I couldn't stop crying. The love of my life cheated on me on my birthday. There was a sharp rock laying on the ground next to me. Somebody probably tracked it in on their shoe. I grabbed it and rubbed it on my wrist so it would cut me. I kept going until there was a big puddle of blood laying all around me. I was so tired I fell asleep. I woke up 10 minutes later when I heard Jafob calling my name from down the hall. I got up and ran as fast as I could.

I ran into a public bathroom and locked the door. I fell asleep right away. I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. Just as i was falling asleep a song popped into my head

Sorry this chapter is a little bit shorter than usual the nest one is going to be really good! There is a lot of bad grammar and I am sorry for that. My mom took away my phone but she doesn't know that i just download all my social media apps on my little sister's tablet.😈
