Chapter 13: The accident

Jacob's pov

What the hell jacob. You probably just lost your girl. Your such an idiot. You make a big mistake.

"Dude. What the hell is your problem? Your dating Lauren. Did you not know we are in Hawaii. You got your own girlfriend mad in Hawaii. Now what are you guys supposed to do. Not talk to eachother on the plane and just ignore each other. Dude we have only been here for 3 days." Mark screamed at me.

"I do not know what I was doing. I am such an idiot." I yelled as I began to cry. I ran out the door and began looking for her again. I started running and didn't stop running.

I ran past a public bathroom and heard sobbing. I didn't care pic it was a women's bathroom. I ran in and there was sitting.....

Kate?

The girl I kissed in the pool.

"Why are you crying?" I asked her.

"Jacob. I thought you liked me. And then you went chasing after another girl. You broke my heart. Jacob I know we are friends but I want to be more than friends. Jacob will you be my boyfriend?" Woah. Did Kate just ask me to be her boyfriend. I mean she was pretty hot. Go for it Jacob.

"Yea. I'D love to." I said and gave her a hug and wiped away her tears. We turned around her and in mine and there was standing Lauren crying her eyes out.

"Wow. Moved on already did ya?" She said and went running out.

Lauren 's pov

Jacob is such a loser. I don't know why ever liked him.

I ran outside. Jacob right on my tail. I had to stop and wait for the elevator. It opened the moment I got there. I hit the close door button and the door began to close. Jacob jumped in through the tiny opening though.

"Lauren. Let me explain."

"Jacob there is nothing to explain. Your dating that. I don't even know her name. And you kissed another girl on my birthday there is nothing to explain." By this time I was screaming at him and the elevator door opened. I went running out and out the front door and kept running.

I was running across the road and all of a sudden I heard Jacob scream. "Lauren. Look out." I looked over and saw a car speeding at me. Everything went black.

Jacob's pov

Her lifeless bloody body just laying there on the road.
Lauren just got hit by a car and it is all my fault because I was an idiot. I killed Lauren. I pulled out my phone and called 911. An ambulance can very soon and took her away. When they loaded her up I tried to get in the back but they told me I couldn't come for safety issues.

I ran back up to the room bawling my eyes out. Mark wad sitting on the bed. "Dude what's wrong?"

I told him the entire story. "Dude we need to go to the hospital right now. You need to get her back."

We both rushes out of the hotel and called a cab. We got to the hospital and walked inside.

"Where's Lauren?" I asked the lady at the front desk.

"She is still in the emergency room right now. You can take a seat and just wait. It will only be about 10 minutes."

I was so emotional and so tired from all this crying I fell asleep right in the waiting room. So did Mark.

"Excuse me. Lauren just got out if the er if you would like to go see her." The lady that was at the front desk asked waking us up. "Room 1738. Go up to the 6th floor take the 7th hallway to the left and she will be the 9th door down to your right." (See what I did there.)

Mark and I immediately tool off. We got to her room and I opened the door. Her body just laying there. She was awake. "Hi Jacob. I'm so glad you came. I love you." I was so confused. An hour ago she was just telling me there was no fixing this and now she was in love with me. The doctor then walked in.

"When she got hit by the car she lost all of her memory from the last 2 days." Ohhhhh. This makes a lot more sense now. This was probably the best news I have heard. So she wouldn't remember Kate. I just went with it and so did Mark.

"I love you too Laury."

"Can I please talk to you guys in the hallway for a moment?" The doctor asked Mark and I.

We all walked out into the hallway. "She should get her memory back in 1 week to 1 month.

Great. Now I have to look forward to the day she remembers.

I am now typing this on my kindle because my little sister got her tablet taken away. Sorry for bad grammar.
