*Flashback*

"Kill the Flash..." Zoom spoke in his evil tone.

"No..." I choked out angrily, even though I could barely breathe, "Never in a million years."

He roared, obviously not exactly thrilled with my answer to his request, and threw me into a storage container nearby. I fell onto the ground. I looked up, my vision blurry and beginning to cloud over as he advanced forward, and then fell into darkness knowing these were probably my last moments.

I awoke and looked around me, frantically, remembering what happened the night before. I was alive and Zoom was nowhere in sight. I took a few deep breaths and placed a hand over my heart. Why'd he leave me alive though? I noticed for the first time I was at a wharf, surrounded by big shipping containers. Secluded, quiet.

I looked around me and saw clawed into a container. You have 48 hours to change your mind or she dies. Next to it was taped a picture. I stood up and walked over slowly and anxiously. No. I thought. I pulled off the picture and starred at it in disbelief.

"No, no, no, no, no..." I whispered to myself, shocked and scared. Scared for her, my best friend. He took my best friend, Alex.

*End of Flashback*

Why? Why did he think I could kill the Flash? I'm normal 16 year old Kat Allison; my powers aren't even that great. Also, I couldn't kill anything even if I wanted to, I don't have the heart.

What should I even do? Should I try and rescue Alex and get back home? No, I wouldn't even know where to begin looking. I stopped walking down the street suddenly as I got an idea. I need to find the Flash myself and get his help. He can help me take down Zoom, now the thing is how to find him?

First, I'll need access to a free computer for an extended period of time and to find my way around the city.

"Where has free computes to use?" I asked myself and looked around. Then saw a sign for the Central City library and found my way there.

The librarian was a witch at first when I walked in there, but I just made up an excuse saying that I was knew in town and didn't have a place yet so I wasn't able to get a card and she was fine with me and let me use a computer without a problem.

I began researching about the Flash. I found a blog written by an Iris West. She's had several encounters with the Flash, has talked to him, met with him, even been helped by him to write stories. I looked in more on her. She currently works for the Central City Picture News. So that's where I would begin.

I looked up directions to the studio and wrote them down. Then I began on my way. It was a little confusing trying to navigate the streets. I mean it was the same city I was from but it was different. And I was seeing many people I recognized but they were different. It made no sense.

I turned the corner and finally saw the place and jogged to the door. I looked at my phone and saw it was after 9:00 am, less than forty hours left.

I walked inside and looked around. I saw a girl in her early twenties sitting at a desk with a boy about the same age as her sitting next on the desk. I think it was Iris. I walked up to the desk tentatively. They both stopped laughing and looked at me.

"Are you Iris West?" I asked her somewhat confidently.

"Yes, I am." She said confused.

"I need your help to get in contact with the Flash." I said and they both looked at each other, their eyes wide.
