I heard a yawn and me and Phil turned our heads towards the stairs and saw my mum and CJ climbing down. Toby came running from down the hall and tried to skid to a stop but was to late. He rolled down the steps. I let out a little screech and jumped up and ran towards him. He stood up and shook himself off, then started jumping around my feet. I let out a deep breath. Toby! You scared me half to death! He cocked his head and wagged his stubby tail. I picked him up and laughed. I walked back over to the table and sat down. My mum had a big bruise on her left cheek.  I looked at her as to ask if she's okay, and she just smiled. I nodded and everything got quiet. My mum was the first one to speak up. "Do you guys need a ride to the airport?" I choked on my coffee and looked up at her. "W-What? But yesterday... We cant leave today!" My mum looked at Phil and Phil answered for her. "You kids need a break. Mandy your mom will stay here with me. He won't hurt her I promise." I nodded and asked my mum if she was sure. She smiled. "Oh gosh I have to get ready!" I said as I pushed my chair back and ran upstairs. I heard the mixture of laughter down the stairs as I opened CJ's door. I ran and  filed through my bag... No cute outfits. God dang it! "Mum I'm going to the mall!" I yelled. "Wait I'm coming with you." CJ screamed back and jogged over to me. I nodded and we walked out to my car. I jumped in the driver's seat and waited for CJ to get in the passenger side. "Are you excited?" He says as he closed the door. I turn the car on and pull out. "Of course!" We continue talking and before we knew it we were at the mall. I pulled into the parking lot and walked up to the door. I was walking to Aeropostal when I saw FishBone. "Hey, do you mind if we stop in here?" I ask him. "No problem lets go." he said. We walked in and and looked at the wall of shoes, when one caught my eye. They were a brown pair of Heely Frays.  I walked up to a lady with bright pink hair and piercings on her lip, ears, nose, cheeks, eyebrows, and belly button. She was wearing a green half-shirt and long torn jeans. She looked at me with bright purple contacts. I asked her if she had size 8's in  the brown Heely Frays. She went into the back room and handed me a box. I smiled and paid for them. She put the box in a bag and handed it to me with a smile. I walked over to CJ and we left towards Aero. "Really?" I hear CJ say.

"What?" I say looking at him questioningly. He points to the bag "Heely's, really are you 12?" I  laughed and said "Maybe!"  We both walked into Aero laughing. I walked to the back and picked out a couple outfits. CJ came up behind me and told me he was going to run to another store and he'll meet me outside Aero in 10 minutes. I agreed and continued to look around. After about 8 minutes I went to check out. I got two new pairs of flip- flops. Five shirts, six pairs of shorts, 3 new bras, 4 pairs of panties, and a new bottle of perfume. After I got my three bags I walked out of the store and found CJ. He was leaning against the wall with a small black bag. He smiled and asked if I was ready to go. "Yeah... wait can I stop at Deb?" 

"Oh c'mon really?" he says with a sigh. Deb was the girliest store in the mall. I laughed and took his hand, dragging him with me. I walked in the store and looked around for about 15 minutes, until something caught my eye. I looked over at the racks of dresses and got 2 beautiful sundresses, and 4 club dresses. I bought 2 pairs of high heels to match also. I walked out of the store with 4 more bags and went over to CJ. He took one look at me and laughed. I pouted and he took 3 bags from me. "Here let me help." I thanked him and we walked back to the jeep. I started driving home when I cursed under my breath.

 "What?" CJ asked. 

I sighed" This isn't going to fit in my bag." He laughed and said "You can borrow one of my suitcases." I thanked him and we pulled into his driveway. We grabbed our bags and ran in the door. My mum and Phil looked at us and started laughing. My mum shouted "Did you buy the whole store?" I glared at her as Phil stood up and walked over to us.  He looked in one of the bags CJ was carrying. "You know I was going to say something.. but know all I'm curious about is why you have three bags of dresses and girls underwear?" CJ blushed and I started laughing. I told CJ to come up stairs and we went into his room. I unpacked all of my close into one of CJ's suitcases along with everything in my bag. I put my wallet and phone in my carry on bag and watched CJ struggle to close my.. or his bag. "Why do girls need so much stuff?" He said out of breath as he finally closed  the suitcase. I laughed and said "Hey you better get packed."

"I already am" He said as he pulled out a suitcase from under his bed. We grabbed our stuff and took it down the stairs. "Shit I forgot Toby's dog crate for the plane ride." I said. 

"You can use Miki's cat carrier if you want." Phil told me. I thanked him and attempted to put Toby in the cage. UGH! I didn't know such a little dog can put up such a struggle. I finally got him in and closed the door. We put his crate in the jeep and I climbed in the back seat with CJ. Phil and Mum got in the front and started driving. I can't believe I'm finally going to California!
