I dreamed again... this time it seemed more real than ever. It was the same dream, but somehow... it felt realer. I don't know if that makes sense. The guy... just... it's like I could actually feel him.. wait.. I do feel him.. or someone.
I blinked my eyes open and let them adjust to the dark. Trees and signs were passing me, but ... my feet weren't touching the ground. I looked up and saw a t-shirt... that might have been.. white? I couldn't really tell because of the darkness, but I could make out a combination of letters and numbers on it, 5K337. What? I stared at it for a few moments then caught myself... wait a random guy is carrying me and all I am worried about is what his shirt says? I roll my eyes at myself then look up at the guys face... my heart stopped. It's him.. it's the guy from my dream.. Toby. I start shaking but luckily he doesn't notice. Soon I start to breathe like a normal human being, and I close my eyes to think. 'Why aren't you freaking out Mandy?' I asked myself. Oh wait he's the guy of my dreams duh. *cue the stupid pun* Ok... so I know he's carrying me, I mean I can feel his arms around me and his chest moving up and down at a astonishing rate... like he was panicking.. aww he's worried about me.. I smiled to myself.. Oh god Mandy shut up!! Wait is he carrying me? I didn't feel the normal up and down bumping movement you normally feel when someone is carrying you and walking. I slyly take a peak at the ground and almost laugh. Heelys! It makes so much more sense.
Ok this has gone on to long. I closed my eyes and coughed a little, fluttering them open like I was waking up for the first time. I looked up at him with wide eyes (like I was shocked so he wont know i was stalking him a minute ago) and he looked down at me panicked before relaxing. "Shh... I'm going to help you. Don't be scared we are almost there." He said in a slow soothing voice. I nodded and asked "Where are we going? What happened?"
"I'll tell you when we get there, just close your eyes and rest a little."
I obliged and waited to arrive at the mystery house.

"Hey.. we're here." I heard a soft voice say as he sat me down on a hard surface. I looked around the bathroom, wow it was nicer than CJ's! It was all bright white... and I mean bright. Everything sparkled and I couldn't take my eyes away. I looked down at the marble counter top I was sitting on and brushed my hand across. I felt something brush my hand and I immediately flinch. Big mistake. As soon as my arm moved, the dried blood from my wrist cracked open and hot red liquid started pouring out again. "We've got to get you to the hospital, you need stitches." He said and wrapped my arm in a bandage. He helped me off the counter and gently set me on the floor. "Can you walk?" I nodded and he turned the door handle and began to walk out. "Wait." I said. He looked back at me with a questioning look. "First off I don't even know your name." I asked.. even though I knew what he was going to say.
"Oh, yeah right." He said walking over to me. "I'm Toby." He looked down at me and smiled. I smiled back," I'm Mandy."
"Pretty name. Nice to meet you Mandy but I think we should be going before you loose to much blood." Toby said while wiping his thumb across my forehead. When he pulled it back it was stained read. I gasped roughly and his eyes flickered back to me quickly. "I'm so sorry did I hurt you?" he asked in a panic.
"No! No. You're fine I just don't really like blood."
He nodded his head and held his hand out to me. I reached my hand towards his.. but slowly moved it away and looked down. He quickly moved his hand behind his back and looked down at the ground. "I'm sorry." he muttered. I looked up quickly and saw his eyes were sad.. almost the same as a puppy's when they do something wrong.
"No I'm sorry." I said while putting my finger below his chin and softly pushing his head up so he would look in my eyes. His eyes flickered up to mine and for a moment I couldn't breathe. I looked into his light brown eyes for what seemed like a century, but had to have been only a few seconds before I snapped back into reality. Come on Mandy, you just met this guy, what are you doing?! I looked back up at Toby and said, "I am just a little shaken up from last night I'm sorry." I smiled and grabbed his hand. "Ready?"
He smiled and led me out of the apartment and over to his car. He let go of my hand so he could unlock the car. He opened the passenger door, and I mouthed a thank you. He got into the driver's side and put the key into the ignition. He went to start the car when I stopped him by putting my hand on his. He looked at me and cocked one eyebrow.
"Before we leave I need to know one thing." I told him with a serious look.
"Anything." He replied and motioned me to go on.
I waited a few moments for a dramatic pause then continued. "What the fuck does your shirt mean?" I asked pointing to the tight fabric on his chest. He laughed and turned the key.
