Chapter Three

(Scarlett POV)

He head snapped to the side. He whole cheek was turning an angry red from the slap.

You could say I wiped the smirk off his face. Everyone was waiting for his reaction of what just happened.

Jackson, Mason and Liam slowly move away from the scene. Layton's eyes had turned black when he looked at me again.

I could tell his Wolf was at bay trying to get out and attack me. He grabbed me by my arms and growled in my face.

Liam tried to get out of Jackson hold to help me but Jackson was stronger than him.

"Let her go!" He yelled. Layton growl anxiously at Liam as all this was happening I felt tears running down my face.

He marked me without my permission I was officially mated to the coldest Alpha an area. My Wolf howled with joy at the fact that we finally found our mate.

He let go of me when he saw that I was crying.

"The mutt stays here grab your things we're leaving."

That only made me cry more no way in hell was I leaving Liam. Not without a fight.

"I wouldn't fight him on it" Mason says as he comes up behind me.

'Mason he's mine' I told him.

"And he'll always be yours but right now you need to go with your mate"

'No'

Mason sighs heavily. "Scar, you don't have a choice here you need to go with him."

I shake my head and walk towards Liam who sat on the couch. He also had tears coming.

'I won't leave you' I told him before picking him up and walking towards my room.

When I get to my room I slam the door and lock it. Liam lays on the bed and closes his eyes no doubt falling back to sleep last night was a long night and waking him up I know he's tired.

Not even seconds since a locked Liam and I am the room a knock comes to the door. I don't answer thinking its Mason.

"You do know he'll be back to get you right?" Jackson says. "He going to take you willingly or not you're going with him you're his mate and Luna of Midnight Shadow now."

Since I don't talk I open the door for him.

'I'm not leaving my son!' I told him and slammed the door in his face. I heard a sigh and a 'I told you so' before it got quite.

I don't know how long it's been before Layton come to my door and forced it open and dragged me out of my room and all the way to his car.

Liam followed after us screaming and yelling Mason was holding him but as he watched me I tried getting out of Layton's hold but it only made hold tighter onto me.

I screamed at him and hit him anywhere I could. Tears will running down my face until I couldn't see anything.

Layton continue to drag me away from my family and my home. Liam was the last person I saw before I fell into darkness.

(Layton's POV)

I put a sleeping Scarlett in the back sit next to Jackson my Beta.

"Why couldn't she bring the boy?" Jackson asks me.

I growled at him. " I don't need a reminder of her having a pup with another guy"

Jackson sighs but doesn't say anything else that the mutt she had with the other Alpha.

Was that why she has at the meeting? My Wolf wanted to go back and rip Alpha Mason to pieces at the thought of him touching what is mine.

It was a long drive back to my territory. Scarlett was still sleeping when I made it to my mansion.

"Put her in one of the spare rooms" I told my third in command. I would've asked Jackson but his yet to find a mate. John I know find his mate about a year ago and she pregnant with their second pup.

Jackson followed me to my office. I took a sit in the chair behind the desk. Jackson remain standing.

"So how much do we know about her?"

"Her name is Scarlett Farra Tate just turned eighteen her brother Mason Cable Tate just turned twenty." Jackson says.

"When she was sixteen she lost her parents in a fire her brother recently became alpha at the time."

"Your telling me Alpha Mason was her brother?" I asked.

"Yes,"

I sighed deeply. "Then who's the little boy?"

"Adopted son, Alpha anything else?"

"Where did you learn all this?"

"Liam."

Of course Liam would know all this. Maybe you should have waited for Scarlett to tell you some of the stuff before jumping to conclusions my Wolf tells me.

I growl at him before blocking him out. His always got to be right. And to tell the truth he was the one who jumped to conclusions too.

"Scarlett also was Alpha too they both ran the pack."

I raise a brow at that information. How does that work? Alphas were very dominant people to everyone other than to their mates.

"Did Mason have a mate?" I asked Jackson

"No, Liam said Mason was to find his mate.

"How old was this boy?"

"Six,"

This surprised me he seem much older than that.

"He's very smart but I'm still not allowing in him into my territory what would other people think if my mate brought home a son that wasn't mine?"

"It's not me you have to explain to it's Scarlett," Jackson says.

It looked like he wanted to say more but didn't get to before we heard screaming. My Wolf was alert at the sound our mate. He says before blocking me out again.
I was out the office door and heading to her room before Jackson could say anything.

Violet: three chapters are finally up I'm on a roll.

Emma: so what's the plan with Layton?

Violet: I'm working on him I don't want this to be like all the rest of the werewolf stories I want it to be different.

Emma: that doesn't answer my question.
