The next morning I was woke up with a water bucket being dumped on me. I shoot out of bed and glared at Liam who was standing by the bed holding an empty water bucket.

'Liam,' I said through the mind link. 'Why are you waking me up with a water bucket?'

I was being calm about this when really I wanted to slap him upside the head. I looked at the clock it read 4:45 in the morning.

"Before you get mad we have to go met him so I woke you up early because not a lot of people will be up at this hour and we don't have to worry about being stopped." Liam explained.

'Okay, well, I'm going to go get in something dry.' I minded linked I couldn't sign when I was shaking so badly it was freezing. I got to the bathroom and start the shower getting I take a ten minute shower.

I get dress and met Liam but in our room.

"Took you long enough." He says as I roll my eyes.

'How are we getting there walking or the other thing?' I signed.

"Walking we'll use the other thing on the way back." Liam says. I nod and pick him up I know that he's six and can walk on his own but I like to carry him.

"Mom, I need to walk." Liam says as we start walking towards the woods we made it out of the house without any problems.

Sighing I put Liam on the ground knowing that he was going to have to call for him. It's going to be hard because we're not in our lands. And he won't have Layton's permission to be in his land.

'Wait does it have to be Xavier?' I asked.

"No, do you want Valamar?" Liam asked I bit my lip. I wasn't happy with either one of them they both left me when I needed them the most.

'Yes," I answered.

"Okay, we're going to have to do this fast because Layton's going to be able to feel your pain." Liam explains as he starts drawing a circle in the dirt.

I roll my eyes I already knew this I didn't want to do this old wounds and old scars were about to be opened again.

Liam stands in the middle of the circle as blue stuff comes out of his hands. The circle becomes a fire wall just as Liam yells out Valamar's name. I move closer to the fire feeling its heat of it. A shadow comes from inside the fire. It's tall. I stand as still and straight as it walks though me I cry out.

Arms catch me as I fall after the figure walked though me. It hurt like fire to have someone do that and it gets worse every time.

"Scarlett," the figure said. He was tall and well build wearing dark jeans and a white t – shirt. His dark eyes matched mine. His hair that grown longer since the last time I've seen him.

'Valamar, it's been too long' I signed

"Yes, it has." He said as he pulled me into a hug. No matter how mad I was at him he was still family. "Liam,"

"Valamar," Liam said crossing his arms he knew what this visit was going to do to me and I knew he didn't like it.

'So why did you called? I know it's not just for a long overdue visit."

'No I'm getting stronger I almost hurt someone the other day.' I explained to him as I signed his smile dropped.

When I was done he out a hand to my face. "Well, you're not heating up."

Liam rolled his eyes. "That's because she not going to have the same power her mother had."

"I know that" Valamar snapped. "But when your power kicks in you get hot, sweaty, and feel sick. You also start getting stronger and angry at everything even at the small things."
