Chapter 4: The Ex

No one got hurt. The car hit the opposite side that no one was one. The car that hit Jacks was a 98' black mustang. I knew that car. I tried to hide it but Jack could tell that something was wrong.

"What is it?"

"That's my ex boyfriends car."

"Oh that's not good."

"It's not good at all. If his car is here that means he's back in town. I half to call AJ."

I get out of the car and me and Jack both call people. He calls 911 while I dial AJ.

"Hello?"
"AJ, we have a major problem. Butch is back in town."
"Okay. Jade get away from there. Meet me at the..."

*Smash!!!*

"Hello Jade"

Oh crap. Its Butch

"Butch. What are you doing here?"

"I came to see you of course. Luckily no one got hit."

"That's bull Butch and you know it."

"Oh common. I can't have a little fun?"

"Fun Butch? You call me dangling over a cliff fun?"

I could tell that I had crossed the line.

"YOU KNOW THAT IT WASNT MY FAULT THAT YOU WERE IN THAT POSITION!"

"NO, BUT ITS BECAUSE OF YOU THAT I GOT PUT IN JAIL FOR IT!"

"Look im sorry that it happened. I truly am but you got put in jail for what you did and there was nothing I could do to change that."

*JACKS POV*
After I got done on the phone, I walked back over to where Jade was at. I over heard her and her ex, Butch, talking.

"Butch I dont care what you half to say. Im going home." Jade said.

"How? your car is damaged."

"It's not her car its mine." I said to him.

"Oh, who might this be?"

"Butch, this is..."

"Im Jack, Jade's boyfriend."

She looked at me like I was insane. I walked over to her and whispered "just play along."

"As you can see Butch, I am just fine without you here so you can just leave."

I had never seen or heard Jade be so tough.

"Okay, but this isnt over." Butch got into a car and drove away. Somewhere between the argument someone showed up to get him.

"Common, let's get you home." I said.
