Parker's POV

"Last ten minutes..."

Matatapos na to'. Konti na lang.

Napangiti ako. Naramdaman ko na ang pawis na namumuo sa nuo ko. I ran a forearm to my sweaty forehead. Pinagmasdan ko ang mga katapat ko. Malapit na rin sila.

"I can do this. Just the final touch." I chanted to myself.

"Hey! Watch out!"

I heard someone shout from a distance. The next thing I knew...

(BOOGSS!)

"O My God!"

Shock was drawn in my face.

This is so impossible.

This is really not happening!

I tried to keep my self calm. I mentally start counting from one to ten with my eyes closed.

Mayamaya may kumublit sa akin. I slowly open my eyes, just to see a girl in front of me. Nakayuko siya. Natakpan ng konti ang mukha ng sumayad ang buhok nito mula sa pagkakapusod. I examine the clothes she was wearing. From her white jersey, black soccer shorts and down to her black running shoes.

"I-Im s-so sorry... I didn't mean to ruin anything of these. It's just that... t-that I hardly kicked the b-ball."

The ball...

I hardly kicked...

Napasulyap ulit ako sa table kung saan kami nag-pi-plating ng dish na niluto namin. Today is our College Week celebration and the event includes this cooking contest. As an HRM student, I volunteer to be a part of it. I want to show them, to know that I can be best in my field. That I don't just have this handsome face and dark aura, but of course a talent.

I gritted my teeth and strongly closed my fist.

"What the FUCK!"

Hindi ko na napigilan ang magmura. In my peripheral vision. nakita kong napakislot ang babae sa sobrang takot.

I am known to be that dangerous.

Nobody messed with me.

Nagulat nga noon yung president ng aming section nang bigla akong sumulpot sa harap niya at sinabing sasali ako sa contest. Hindi niya siguro ito mapaniwalaan. Si Parker Adrian Palma, ang sigang kinatatakutan ng lahat at ang walang pakialam ay magvo-volunteer na sumali sa contest na ito?! O come on! Mamon!

I always keep my self cool but the moment you messed up with me, I really lose my control.

Nagsilapitan naman ang girl soccer players doon sa babae. Pati na rin yun ibang tao para makiusyoso.

"Captain!" tawag nung isang player na may maikling buhok.

"Captain, Okay ka lang?"

"Are you alright, Imo?" Nag-aalalang tanong naman nung isa pang player habang nakahawak sa balikat nung tinawag niyang Imo.

Imo?

Wait...

Did she just say Imo? As in Imogen?

"I'm so s-sorry... I-I didn't mean to ruin what you've prepare..." nanginginig ang boses na nagsalita ito.

Unti-unting umangat ang tingin nito habang kagat ang labing tumingin sa akin. Nagbabadyang pumatak ang mga luhang namumuo sa kanyang mga mata.

Titig na titig ako sa kanyang mukha lalo na sa kanyang mata.

Those blue eyes...

Suddenly, a tear escapes form those eyes and then another one.

"I-Im s-so sor-ry..." Her voice broke and after that, she ran away.

"IMOGEN! / CAPTAIN!" the players ran towards her direction.

I was stoned in my position. Those blue eyes that shred tears were the only picture in my mind.

What have I done?

How can I mess things up?

I made her cry. I let those tears fall from her beautiful blue eyes.

I hurt her.

Fuck!

I hurt my Imogen!

You messed up Parker!
