Prolugue

Hey muffins! This is my 2nd fanfic! It's all going to be in Percy's P.O.V.

It all started going downfall when Chad joined camp. He was a son of Ares. He seemed nice when he first set foot on camp. He was immediately claimed as the son of Ares. He seemed like all the other children of Ares, reckless and a bit dumb. However this was not the case.

First, he spread rumours about me how I wasn't a Hero and that I let my friends die on purpose. I didn't care at first as I still had my friends. But slowly he even took that away from me. Funny how one person can completely change your life. Oh, how the fates hated me.

Jason, Piper and others were slowly drifting away from me. Even then I still didn't care. I still had Thalia, Nico, Grover and Annabeth. Or so I thought.

I was walking down to the beach to relax. I heard two voices. I noticed that they they were Chad and Annabeth. What we're they doing together?

"I love you, Annabeth." Chad said. No! She can't be!

"I love you too, Chad." Annabeth said back. I stayed behind them watching silently as tears streamed down my cheeks.

"I'm better than Percy, aren't I?"

"Of course you are, honey!" They then did a a snog session. I marched up to them.

"How could you?!" I screamed at Annabeth. She stopped kissing Chad and jumped onto her feet.

"Percy it's not what it look like!" She started.

"Oh really? Because it looks like you cheated on me with this ego maniac!" I shouted.

"Goodbye Annabeth Chase, I hope I never see you again!"

I walked out of the camp borders putting the backpack of essential things in there. I left all the pictures of Annabeth behind.
I started to walk as far away from camp as possible. To my new life.

After a lot of monster fighting I thought my time was up. Suddenly all the monsters just dropped down dead. WHAT THE HECK?! Then a bright light appeared. I had to turn my head away. Then a man appeared. He looked as though the stars lived in his eyes.

"Hello Perseus Jackson, I am Chao, creator of all." Chaos said. I quickly realised this was the real Chaos and quickly bowed down. He chuckled. Huh why is he laughing?

"No need to bow down Perseus. I have an offer to make." I quickly stand up.

"What kind of offer?"

"I want you to be my assassin." Do you accept?" He wants me as his assassin?

"Why me?"

"I see something in you Perseus."

"Just Percy, thanks." I could be his assassin. Do some good in the world. I don't have anything to lose. So why not?

"Yes, but on one condition."

"And what is that?"

"I change my name to Storm."

"Of course." He made a portal appear and we step right into it. To my new life.
