"NEVER AGAIN!" My shout echoed. As I said those words battle cries were heard. Clangs and screams. As Void bought his sword to stab me I dodged. To be honest this was getting repetitive. I think I'll end it it don't you think?
That's when it happened. Void dropped his sword and grabbed me by the throat. My vision tinged red and the world was spinning. I was dying.
"PERCY!" Everybody stopped and some gasps were heard. Someone came running. Nico was running to me. He ran quicker and tackled Void. He was knocked down!
"You'll pay for that, you naive child!" Voids voice sounded like knives in my gut. He brought his sword quickly to chop Nico's head. My best friend. My cousin. My brother.
I will not allow this to happen. I ran as quickly as I can. I pushed Nico out the way. However with every action comes a consequence. He bought the sword down. It was at my upper arm. Then. Unimaginable pain. I looked down to see blood gushing and...MY FUCKING ARM ON THE FLOOR! I was freaking out now. Luckily Chaos taught us to use both arms for fighting.
"You'll regret that, you bitch!" I lifted my only arm and stabbed him in the side. And then he fucking chuckled?
"You think I will die?" His wound then closed!
"The only way you can kill me is by taking my soul." Well shit. I fought though.
I was fighting for survival. To save these people. I have to think of something. Anything. Then I got it.
If I could just control his blood then maybe I can force him to take his own soul out. Worth a shot. But before I could do anything he grabbed me and we teleported.
"Bro what the fuck?" I asked.
"What?" He answered.
"What?" I said.
"What?" I am very confused.
"What?"
"ENOUGH YOU STUPID CHILD!" He bellowed.
"Gee calm down dude." He roared at me and charged. I quickly took out my sword to defend myself. The clang echoed all around us.
"You coward. You don't want any one to see me defeat you?" I taunted. Void got furious that his face turned red!
"Fine. I will show everyone your death." He gritted out before teleporting us out.
I heard gasps every where. I turned just in time to block a strike from King douchebag. He swung his sword to my side and I stopped it from slicing me in half. However I couldn't stop Mister Asshole from slicing my side. I hissed in pain as I saw that blood was gushing out.
Time for a little revenge. I brought my sword to his thigh. I made a deep gash before he stopped my weapon and threw it across the battle field. Luckily, I came prepared. I took out my knife and stabbed at his neck. He put up his sword to block it but it hit his wrist instead and his hand was hanging by a piece of skin. He saw that he couldn't win with his main hand severed like that so he shouted, "Fall back!" Then all the monsters and Void himself vanished.
I looked around the battlefield and looked at all the fallen soldiers. I went to check on my own team in fear of them being dead. I saw my group in the distance so I ran over to them. There was Oli, Beauty, Jackie and Jack, Matt, Basil, Blake, Rose and Arrow...but no Skull?
"Where's Skull?" I asked Arrow. She suddenly burst into tears.
"He's dead! He jumped in front of a sword for Beauty!" She wailed. Tears started filling my eyes. Skull was nice to me. I pulled Arrow into a hug. She burrowed her head into my shoulder and continued crying.
"Come on. You need your rest. We'll have a funeral for him later." I said. I helped her to the cabin and motioned for everyone to go have their rest as well.
As soon as I put Arrow to her bed, I started to create an ice prosthetic for my non-existent arm. I made it quickly and attached it to the stub. As soon as I did that I sat down on my bed. What a day. One of my soldiers have fallen. I salute his honourable death. Goodbye my fallen soldier and friend.
