I get out of the hospital only to be summoned back to the hokage's office. I start walking there. They have been keeping me busy since I arrived here. I enter the office after I knock. Tsunade looks up from her papers at me. "You needed me?"

She beckons me closer. "I have a solo mission for you," she pauses. "It is a stealth mission to gather information," I nod. "On Sasuke,"

My eyes widen. "I wanted to ask you if you wanted to before anyone else just in case. You don't have to at all if you don't want to. You are in no way obliged to," she reiterates. I think of all the memories I had with him the good and bad. "I'll do it," I say, determined to not let my emotions get in the way. "Great, you need to leave in 30 minutes or less. He was last spotted in the village hidden in the stones. Follow his to his hideout and record the location mainly. It is an Anbu solo mission, so wear your uniform and mask. But knowing you, I will allow you to take it off if he sees you," she gives permission. "You would do it anyway so might as well tell you you can," she shrugs "So, pack up and head out, I will send Ren, Kyo and Haruka a few hours behind you for back up just in case," I wave as I exit the office.

I go to my apartment and pack. Possibilities run through my head like race horse. I decide to take the mission as it comes and not dwell on it. I keep on the bandages for my burns only. I slip on the Anbu uniform and seal everything in scrolls. I walk out of the village silently, then run in the trees.

The terrain soon becomes rocky, as it should. Before I enter the gates, I change remove the gray anbu vest. I am left in a high-neck sleeveless shirt and black pants. I look like a common chuunin maybe genin if we stretch it enough. I bind my chest to make it smaller as well.  I tie my old Stone village head band around my neck, which is better than putting genjutsu on my current because someone could release it. The length of my hair now reaches the middle of my back. I also apply makeup over all my scars as well as my tattoo. Knowing Sasuke, he would notice them immediately. I get my old id as well out. I seal my anbu vest and arm guards in the scrolls and put it in my shirt. I hide a good amount of my chakra, but leave some out so I don't raise any suspicion. Almost everyone have chakra even if it is small. The gate keepers halt me. "Mam, I need to see your ID," you says. I hand him my ID, on it I am a genin because I didn't stay here long. He hands it back to me to issue. "You can come in," the other hands me back my ID and nods me in the gates. I put up my chakra perception and scope out the village. I change the way I walk to look like a timid girl. I soon begin to feel his chakra.

I follow it into a dango shop. I walk to the counter and keep my head down, in case the owner recognized me. "May I have 2 stick of dango and a cup of tea?" I ask in a higher voice. "Coming right up!" the old man gets to work and I stand beside the cash register. I get my tea and dango and sit in the corner facing the entire shop with the window right by my chair. I calmly chew on my dango and open a book. But instead of reading it, my eyes scan the room for Sasuke. My eyes land on him, at least that is his chakra. He has grown just as tall as Naruto if not taller. He wear a white, open shirt with a purple braided rope around his waist and black pants. I notice a katana sticking out of the back as well. Power radiates off of him. The person sitting next to him is, Kabuto. He hasn't changed one bit. When I got captured by Orochimaru during my training period, I never actually saw Sasuke. I was kept in a separate part of the hideout completely. I finish my dango and continue to analyze them. I decide to leave before them so I can hide in the shadows and wait for them to come out.

I hide in the alley and in 5 minutes, they come out. I let them go a few yards in front. By now it is nearing the evening. I follow them into a small pub. I leave my shadow clone with them. If they were to leave, I would know immediately. I decide to walk around town since the sun was still relatively high in the sky. My mind wanders at the thought of one of my old comrades remembering me. I stare at my feet kicking at the rocks. I bump into someone at my head shoots up. "Hey, watch where you're going!" the voice registers in my brain in mere seconds. I look up at the guy a ran into. He has spiky blonde hair and hazel eyes. He continues to stare at me. "I don't think I have seen you before but you have our forehead protector," he mumbles on. "You have, it has just been 10 years since I've been here," he stares at me confused. "Rei, you know it's rude to forget own comrade," I smirk. His eyes widen before he smirks. "It's about time you come back," he picks me and starts running. "Where are we going," I voice falters as I jump with every step he takes. "I'm taking you to my place so we can talk," he trots. "I am kind of on a dangerous mission.

"Oh," he drops me. I detect Sasuke and Kabuto start to leave the pub. "Hate to cut this short but I have to be some where right now. Bye!" I wave as I run in the direction of my shadow clone.
