Instead of going to rest, the teams decided to mingle with each other in the common area. Asahi sits on one side of me and Ren sits on the other. I introduce Asahi to everyone and he practices all the names. I sense Asahi glaring at the others. I elbow him,"What?" he whispers. "Stop glaring at people!," I whisper shout. He sighs and he eye soften when he looks at the team. As they talk to each other and mingle, I feel myself drift off from the conversation. I stand up and head for the door outside unconsciously. "Hono? Where you going?" Sakura's voice snaps me out of thought.
Third POV
Hono turn her head to them,"Going out to walk around the village. You can come if you want," she offers but they can tell she wants to walk alone,"Are you sure you want to? I mean.." Asahi starts standing up. She simply smiles,"It doesn't matter. If you are really that concerned you can come with me," Hono says. Asahi slowly sits down. He watches as she glides out of the door into the village.
Hono walks aimlessly around the village. Glares bare into her skull. She didn't care. It is days like this when she really counts her blessings. Yeah, she had some crap happen to her but at least she isn't alone. She thinks this even though she makes herself alone by shutting others out when she need them the most. Emotions are a funny thing.
She feel a sharp pain in the back of her head. She turns around roboticly,"Get out of the streets you damn curse," a gruff voice shouts at her. "If I am a curse, then why do even speak to me?" Hono says softly but menacingly. She smirks and keeps walking the same direction not caring.
Time Skip
It starts getting dark outside and she decides to head back. She peeks into the girls room but decides not to go in since she didn't want to disrupt their sleep. She takes off her shoes and pads to the couch where she was sitting earlier today. She curls up, her head on the soft arm rest and falls asleep.
Kyo walks back to his room from the bathroom and notices a small ball of person on the couch. He patter quietly over to identify the person. Hono. 'She must have just gotten here' he thinks. He notices her tense shoulders. Almost like she is anticipating an attack. He decides to run to his room and pull out an extra blanket. He comes back over to her and places the cotton woven blanket with black tassels around the edges. He sighs and head back to sleep.
Time Skip
Ren, Haruka, and Kyo are watching over the village as the sun sets. The rest of the teams just finished dinner. Ren hears faintest rustling of plants come from directly in front of him. He sends two clone to alert Kyo and Haruka. The clones instructs Kyo to alert Hono asap. Kyo sends his clone to Hono.
He teleports to Hono who was just about to walk in her room. She sees the worry in his eyes and doesn't even need to hear what he says before she jumps into action. She creates 5 clones. She sends 1 to the elder, 2 with Kyo's clone and 3 to locate and inform the teams. Her real body goes to her room and gets ready for battle. Hono grits her teeth and teleports to her anbu team.
She asks everyone fighting to conceal their chakra and hide behind the tall walls of the border. But they can't have everyone hide because it would raise suspicion. The only people who would be "gatekeepers" would be her and Asahi. Hono and her brother mask their chakra enough to make it seem they are at a low chuunin rank. Hono also puts a transformation jutsu on her to give her red hair and amber eyes instead of blue. She could be easily identified if she did not.
Both lean against the walls nonchalantly, waiting for the attack. Anticipation eats away at their gut. Out of the foliage of leaves appears ranks of ninja encompassing the entire border. Each member produces several clones that attack the rouges. "Keep the Fire village ninja alive," Hono calls out loud.
