We were packing our things to go back to New Orleans for our family reunion. "Get cha ass outchea befo we miss da damn flight." My dad yelled. I grabbed my keys and got in the car while he put my bags in the trunk.
"Whats da matta." The car sunk down a little indicating that he just got in. "Dad I don't wanna go." I pouted
"Look you ain't gotta be scared cause dey aint gon do shit or say shit to ya cause you ma la' baybeh and dey don't wanna see Yung pop off again buhlee dat, ya heard me." He said while pulling out the drive way.
I slouched down in the seat and nodded my head.
Growing up I used to be so close with my cousins. We used to never want to leave each others sides. But since my dad has money and fame they dont act the same. There mothers putting things in their heads, telling them I think im better than them because I have more. But years ago I was just like them wishing I had more and hoping for something to live for. Now every family gathering they all gang up on me sometimes even make me cry. I usually isolate my self from them and sit and talk with the little kids. Im hoping this year it'll be different.

After the plane ride we went to my grandma's house. I slowly entered hoping no one was here yet. I sighed when I only saw her on the couch. " Is that my baby." She squinted her eyes as she got up to hug me. "How you been doing." She kissed my check. "Good."
"Alright go in the kitchen and check that food for me while I talk to ya dad." I nodded and left the room.
As soon as I entered the kitchen the smell of freshly baked Peach Cobbler filled my nose.

"So why did u contemplate coming or not." She really gon ask me dat she know the exact reason why.
"You know how dey make Nay feel, and I aint gon tolerate them disrespecting ma child."
"Yea but you could've atleast came to see ya momma." I just nodded and gave her a hug.
"I love you too." I heard Nay talking to someone on the phone as I was on my way to the kitchen.
"Who dat." She jumped and dropped a knife. I just laughed at ha ass. "Tryna steal ya granny peach cobbler aint chu." She slowly nodded.
"What chu say about my food." My mama said while walking in. I turned and looked at Nay. "N-Nothing i just said that it was done." I just shook my head she now she don't play when it comes to ha food.
"Get out ma kitchen." Nay cut her off "But I thought u needed my help." "Go on now." She said shooing us out the kitchen.
"Auntie where here." I quickly looked at Nay. "You good." She slowly nodded.

"Say hey to cousin Aug and princess Nay." Cousin Kendra said.
Kamiyah one of her daughters looked at me and rolled her eyes and continued to type on her little Lg phone.
My phone vibrated and I pulled out my Iphone 6s. My dad chuckled " I be back im bout to head to the sto fo mama u want anything."
"Can I got with u please." I said while poking my lip out. "No and fix ya face." "Fine." I said while standing up I pretended like I was going upstairs and quickly ran outsise towards the car.
