Drip'n Steeze [Kenny and his brother Chris] was having a party for their new mix tape release. I was helping them set up the food for the guest that were on their way.

I'm so proud of these two boys. This was honestly their dream ever since I met them my freshman year in high school. While I was a freshman, they were sophomores so they're both a year or two older than me.

I met Kenny and Chris at our high school talent show actually. Kenny and Chris auditioned as their act were rapping to one of their very own songs.

I was behind the curtains controlling the lights. I don't remember how we ended up friends but I'm so happy we did. I love Kenny and Chris like my own blood.

I got the popcorn from out of their food pantry and teared open the plastic packaging.
I was very familiar with their kitchen considering I'm over their house more than my own home.

I threw out the plastic and opened up the popcorn setting it in the microwave.

Kenny got the dip out of the cupboard with some chips and poured the dip in a big separate bowl.

Ashley, Kenny, Chris and I all trooped it to Walmart the other day to stock up on snacks just for the release party. We each chipped in a lot of money but it was much worth it considering the boys made it thus far.

Chris then finally came down the stairs from out of his room sticking his hand in every snack bowl that was lined up on the kitchen island. There's a big bowl of Doritos, popcorn, assorted candy and the whole nine yards, including a variety of beverages.

"I like how you come down just to stuff your fat ass face." I scoffed beaming a twizler right at his head but he quickly dodged it

He picked it off the floor and ate it. Yuck.

"Yall didn't even need my help." He said kissing his teeth and waving me off walking into the living room

My hand itched to just throw the whole glass bowl of tortilla chips but I kept my cool.

Kenny then followed Chris out of the kitchen as the microwave started to beep. I took the hot steaming bag of popcorn and opened it pouring it in a bowl.

They both took a seat in the 3 seater couch that was located directly in front of the television but I sat in the dark brown colored recliner chair that's to the right of them.

I reclined the chair back and watched them both as they were concentrated on the television. Chris brought his playstation down from his room for the party I guess.

I caught my self staring as Kenny would bite his lip occasionally as he was so determined to kick Chris' ass in whatever game they were playing.

Man Kenny is so sexy. Ever since the day we met I found him so attractive but I kept it to myself putting my own self in the friend zone. I regret it though because we grew up to be best friends. All of us, Chris, Kenny, Ashley and puberty did Kenny right might I add. 😰

A few hours later the party then started. There's more girls then boys here and I had to chuckle at that, this was a typical Chris Williams move.

The party was live though! I can't lie. I wouldnt really call it a party, something like a get together? It was relaxing, even with Drip' n Steeze's mixtape blasting loudly around the house due to the surround sound.

Kenny and I was sharing popcorn watching the guys and a few girls play Chris' playstation until the bell rang. He set the bowl of popcorn in Chris's lap and pulled me to the door with him, hand in hand.
