CHAPTER 7

My head is pounding. I did not get drunk royally last night so I am not having a major hang-over. I guess, the lack of sleep plus a bit of alcohol is catching me up.

What's pissing me off is the fact that I went home this early morning but my Mom is here in my room waking me up at this ungodly hour and nagging at me.

"Mom... I want more sleep." Reklamo ko sa kanya. "Please talk slowly. I can't digest what you are talking about."

"Look at this..." Nilapit nya pa talaga sa face ko ang tablet nya.

"Mom..." How can I check it kung nasa mukha ko ang unit so I adjusted it. Medyo blurry pa ang tingin ko. "Is that me?" Tanong ko sa kanya.

"And guess who's with you?" Nakapameywang pa si Mom.

"Yeah, it's Timothy." Tinaasan lang ako ng kilay ni Mom. "We saw him at the bar. I promise I did not know na na andoon din sya. Alangan naman Mom na iwasan ko ang tao. Everybody knows that we know each other. Alangan namang dedmahin ko sya sa bar. And in the first place, sya naman ang lumapit sa amin."

"You and him is in the headline. Congratulations, you are again the top topic online even in the newspapers. Your pictures are all over, again."

I browse her tablet even yung newspapers na bitbit nya. She ain't kidding. Our face is all over the front page. Yung picture is yung medyo malabo na nagsasayaw kami at tsaka yung nakaakbay sya akin. Medyo flirty yung picture.

The title goes like this, -reel or/to real?- -loveteam nga lang ba?- -bagong loveteam nakitang nagpaparty- and there's more....

Sabi naman sa isang write-up, -kabago bagong loveteam nag lalampungan na agad-

Hello, saan kami nag lampungan? Ang OA ng write-ups.

"Mom can I go back to sleep now?" Antok na antok pa talaga ako.

"Ok fine. Will talk again later." Then she got out of my room. Finally, sleep. I don't want to entertain the negative write-ups. All I want right now is sleep so I'll sleep. Kiber sa mundo.

My schedule is clear for today kaya I was able to catch-up a sleep. Yon lang pag labas ko ng room ko nakabantay na si Mom.

"Finally." Salubong kaagad sa akin ni Mom. "My phone and our line keeps on ringing. Nakaka stress."

"Hi. What's up?"

"Well, we told them that you two are not yet together and that you two happens to be at the same place at the same time. That coincidence do exist." Mom's shared.

"Ok. That's actually true." Sang-ayon ko.

"Well, they were asking why you two were a bit cozy last night.... We just told them that you were just comfortable with each other and that you two are really good friends kaya panindigan nyo yang good friends na yan."

"Wow. Ngayon lang ako na inform na good friends pala kami ni Timothy." Sarcastic kong sagot kay Mom.

"That was what Timothy's representative had also said. Basta pag may naka corner sayo about that issue you know what to answer. Timothy, your very good friend will also do the same." Pang-aasar ni Mom.

"Fun-fucking-tastic." Sarcastic ko ding sagot. Tinignan lang ako ni Mom ng masama.

The ratings of our first acting debut as a love team is phenomenon. Even during it's run we trended in twitter. Puro magagandang reviews ang natanggap namin.

Lagi din kaming may prod ngayon sa Sunday show. Nadagdagan din ang endorsement namin. We are even invited as a guest of honor sa newly mall sa Pangasinan. We are also going to do a prod. One song lang naman.
