A/N: Only because I'm feeling extra generous for being back. I saw all your comments, and I'm overwhelmed. I feel da love. So here's a new chapter for you. Two chapters in a week, wow.
P/s: Guys, I hate to say it; but I'm starting to ship Leston (is that their ship name? I meant to say Lachlan x Preston). I'm starting to ship them probably even more then Wooflan oops, naaaahh not really. Soooo...idk. I might add some Leston moments in the next few chapters...not too much.......I hope.
[Lachlan's POV]
"Call me once you're done." I inform him as I stop in front of the hospital to drop Rob off.
"No no no, I don't think so, bitch. You're coming with me." he sassily exclaims.
"What? No. I have a few errands to run." Clearly, it's a lie. I don't have shit to do. Even if I do, does it look like I'm the type of person who would actualu do his shits? Don't think so.
"Fuck that. After seeing what you did this morning, I'm never letting you out of my sight. At least not until I figure out what's bothering you." He states bluntly
"Rob, Preston needs you. Go. I'll be fine."
"And I need you." he starts giving me a cute undeny-able begging face.
"But Preston doesn't." I continue to deny his offer but he doesn't listen and puts on a pouty face, begging for my attendance. In the end, I give up and reluctantly stay. "Okay, fine. Wait right here while I go park."
"You wish, Lachlan. I'm not dumb. I know you like the back of my hands, and you're not gonna slip away. We'll park together." I roll my eyes to his statement and proceed to park.

The next few hours, were just spent in Preston's room waiting for him to wake up. God knows why they wanted to wait there on the spot when we could wait at the cafe downstairs. They didn't, so I did. At least that's what I told them.
I didn't move until the doctors drop the news letting us know that they managed to pump the pills out. As soon as it hit me, I took the advantage to get away from it.
Now I know I'm not the only one who has thought of what's going to happen after this. Preston's gonna wake up, see Jerome and Rob, and god knows what will happen. For all we know, he could probably just immediately pull the plug to his life.
So I told them I went down to the cafe, when in truth, I wait by the elevator. It had a balcony, and you can probably tell where this is going, I needed to smoke. God knows I might turn into an addict soon if I don't fix my problem. But I can't. I don't know how.
"Lachlan?" I slowly turn around anxiously, thinking it was Rob, but when I turn, I see Preston. "Of course you're smoking, I'm not surprised."
"Preston? What are you doing? Where are you going?" I ask as I throw the bud to the floor and stomping on it to extinguish the flame. "Where's Rob and Jerome?"
"Leaving. What does it look like? I shouldn't be here...I shouldn't be alive." He says as he presses the call button for the elevator. I give him a confused look, he could probably read my face, and knew what I was wondering about. "Those two apes were asleep from before I woke up. They're on the couch in my room."
"Listen, Preston. I know I'm probably the last person you wanna see right now, granted I'm what started all of this. But.....let me buy you coffee." I gently invite, hoping to calmly talk some sense into him over coffee. I know his only weakness is coffee, so he can't possibly reject that invite. "Come on, there's a cafe downstairs." I lead as the elevator doors open.
I realise now what I must do. In order to keep Rob happy, I have to protect the one thing that he loves, the one thing that he prizes; which is Preston.
I have to keep him safe and alive at all cost. Regardless whether Rob will take notice of my actions to save Preston just for him, all I want right now is to keep that smile forever plastered onto his face.
[Jerome's POV]
"Jerome! Wake up!" A loud distinctive voice startles me from my sleep. Though I may be a little blurry and half unconcious, I can swear I heard him saying "Preston is gone!"
As soon as I come to my senses and get aware of things, I finally process that all in. "Wait, what? Where is he?!"
"I don't know, but we better get going and find him. He can't be too far!" He says rapidly getting himself ready to search for Preston. I do the same.
As we both open the door, we were both startled to see what was on the other side. It's Lachlan with Preston.
"Lachlan?" Rob says as he examines him. "Oh good, you found Preston!" He says kissing Lachlan on the cheek and hugging Preston tight pulling him into the room
"Not exactly. He found me." He says as he enters. He places a tray of hot coffees from Starbucks on the mini table by the couch that had three drinks. "Here Jerome, Robert, I brought you guys coffee."
"So, wait. What happened? You guys went to get coffee....." I say pausing confusedly as I register the other cup in Preston's hands. "...together?"
"Yeah. I uhh...talk some sense into him for you guys...Cleared things out, ya know?"
"So...does that mean you're okay, Preston? That you forgive us?" Rob says hesitatingly, staring into Preston's eyes naively.
Preston flashes a smile and nods, proceed by pulling Rob for a hug. "Yeah, I forgive you guys." He says. He reaches out one of his hands to me and says "Come here, you Jerome.". And I did. "You too, Lachlan. Get your butt over here, we're family now."
[Preston's POV]
I hope it wasn't obvious. I think to myself.
Naaahh, I doubt it's obvious. Just because I invite him for a hug, does not mean he is able to interpret it and find out that I'm actauly starting to have a crush on him. Plus, I covered it up smoothly by pretending to accept him as a friend. When in truth....I'm starting to fall for him now...Lachlan that is.
Oh god, again with the falling in love with people who wont love me back... No. Why? Part of my brain think to myself.
A/N: Sorry avid Wooflan shippers if that made you cringe. It's okay, so did I. But not really now that I'm a semi-Wooflan-semi-Leston shipper. Haha sorry again.
