A/N: Hello, friends. Before you begin reading, I would like to apologise deeply for my punctuality. I know, I suck. I've been gone for far too long, almost a month. Forgive me. Bet you guys thought I was going to go away again didn't ya?? Don't worry, I wont. Now, I'm not promising you anything, but I'll try to get another chapter out on the same week. I know after reading this, you guys will freak out and be anxious for the next chapter. So I don't want to leave you guys hanging. But for now, enjoy.
[Rob's POV]
"Well.....that was something." Lachlan says as he keeps his focus on the road, driving the car on the dark dim highway
"Uhh...yeeaaah." I respond bluntly as I keep my stare to outside the window next to me. Lips pursing, irrgularly breathing in and out, hoping that Lachlan doesn't register how anxious I am at the moment, but I clearly am not good at hiding it.
"You okay, Rob?"
"Yeaa." I say with a cracked voice. See what I mean about not good at hiding it. I turn my head from the window to face him. He is giving me an arched eyebrow, analysing me. "No, no. Lachlan. I'm fineee. Keep your eyes on the road." I say as I gently gesture his head to face infront.
It is late. About late 1AM, almost reaching 2. We just left Ryan's house, on the way back to Lachlan's. After the spin the bottle session, we all seperated and hanged out a while at Ryan's. And....so much things happened.
"When we get home, we're gonna have a longg...long...looonnnggg....talk. because clearly, you're not okay."
My eyes widen in fear as I process that in. What Lachlan said, rubbed me the wrong way. It drifts my mind to think of what happened just now.
>Flashback begins<
I angrily march into Ryan's bedroom, checking his room at every corner, in hopes to find a big bottle of wine, or any type of alcohol that will take my mind off of....that....what had just happened a few minutes ago.
Knowing Ryan, he would keep a stash of negativity somewhere in his room. Just as I was about to give up, I found one, hidden in a secret mini refridgerator under his night stand.
I take the gigantic bottle, pulled out the cork that took all of my might, and proceed to drink it from the bottle. Slowly, but in big gulps.
"Fuck." I swear after every swallow. Not only because it was to ease myself from the burning sensation I feel as the alcohol goes down my throat, but because I just saw Lachlan and Preston kiss. I would've been fine on normal occasions, but I saw Lachlan's expression. It's the same expression he has when he kisses me. And...and...I don't know how to feel.
"Rob" a vague voics startles the frick out of me. I thought I was alone in the room.
It came from behind me. I turn around, my vision a little bit unfocused as I was still in the process of digesting the alcohol. Once I did focus, I jump back as I see Chelsea.
"Uhh..Chelsea.....hi?" I start awkwardly.
"What are you doing?" She moves closer to me, step by step. I do the same, but move further away from her. Away and away, that is until I reach a cabinet behind me.
"Chelsea... What are YOU doing?" I say in hopes to stop her, she was inches away from me by now.
"Rob...tell me you didn't feel anything from that." She starts as she grabs my hand, gently carassing it. There was not a single space between us at all, we were body-to-body close.
"Nope. Nope. Nope" I repeat as I slide myself away from her, running to the other side of the room.
"Rob. Come on." She says as she runs after me.
