Chapter 2: Prepare for Battle!

"I will never create such powerful mechanism for you! It could blow up the planet!" A yellow-furred fox rejected having to sacrifice his life rather than making a powerful weapon only to be controlled by the wrong claimer.

"I give you two options; invent that machine or die?" A green hedgehog asked fiercely.

Trying to hold back the fear of dying at any moment, the young fox still remained and refused to do the hedgehog's command. And as soon as he announced his opinion, he received a hard kick from Scourge letting his frail body hit the wall. Even if so, he forced his weak limbs to get back on his feet having the tendency to fall back on the ground after a few seconds of standing. But he did not mind anyway, he knew he was one step near death and soon as he did pass away, no one would find his body. Furthermore, he would not just let himself die without doing anything to save his home planet from the hands of evil forces like the person who stood before him.

"Metal Sonic, kill this filthy piece of crap!" The greenhog uttered and soon left, leaving Tails and Metal Sonic.

"Eliminate Miles 'Tails' Prower" The robot confronted Tails but before it can end the fox's life, his server started malfunctioning. "System Failing! Eliminate Miles 'Tails' Prower"

"Not this time Metal Sonic..." The fox covered himself as the robot planted a self destruct on itself. Once it blew, the door popped open letting the genius fox escape. "I'm glad that's over. Now we gotta find Sonic and the others!" He thought.

"Now what do you want from me? Some booby traps, some survival tips or some rocks which I found near volcanos? Just let me out you people covered in metal suits..... or......... ARE YOU ALIENS?!" Tails heard Sticks, echoing her voice through the hallway.

"Get me out of here! This is not professional! Even if I'm not professional...." Knuckles called out on the same hallway. "Tails?!" He screamed seeing Tails stopped by his door receiving a "shush".

"Boy! Am I glad to see you! Where's Sonic and the others?" Knuckles whispered, not wanting to wake the guards up.

"No idea... I'm sure they're fine." Tails replied having the feeling of hesitation to what he said.

Once Tails unlocked Knuckles cell, the red echidna swiftly grabbed Tails' hand as soon as they heard Sticks scream and ran towards the noise.

"Put me down you-you... I don't know what to call you," the badger squirmed as it was dragged to another location.

"Intruder alert! Intruder alert!" The robot said as lights flashed red, disturbing all its other members.

"Uh oh... That doesn't sound good." Tails said worriedly as the robot blocked their way.

"What is ze zound meetzing, Princess Sally?" Antoine questioned as he set next to his wife, Bunny.

"What's up Sally?" Rotor stretched in his chair looking at the frustrated princess walk back and forth.

"Worried again?" Nicole approached making the princess stop from walking in circles.

"Of course! Sonic's out there, captured! As his friends, we have to do something to save them." Sally responded with a loud whisper.

"SONIC'S CAPTURED???!!! BY WHO???!!!" Marshmallow exclaimed as she heard Sally.

"Sadly..." Sally rubbed her arm, thinking if saying that it was Scourge behind all the black mailing would be a good idea.

"How about Amy? Is she okay?" Cream followed a hundred of questions without any response.
