"You really need to get used to the cold weather Rivers..." He said softly, a small smile was playing on his lips when he looked at me. I didn't return the smile, I was too confused to even smile back. His mood had changed quickly and I was left confused. Aaron looked back at the road as he drove off and soon his wild eyes was focused on the road.

And why he did care that night is something that I didn't get to know until way later...

First day of school always sucked but first day in a new school in another country sucked even more, it actually sucked quite a lot. The fact that I didn't have any friends when I came to school on Monday morning sucked and the fact that the British English seemed to be quite different from the American English sucked even more. English had always been my favorite subject but now I knew that I was domed to fail. The rest of the subjects didn't bother me at all, I hated school and that wouldn't change just because I was in England instead of USA. The only good thing with school was lunch, because at lunch I usually met Ryan and Mell but now even lunch was boring.

Like no friends and different English wasn't bad enough I also had to wear a school uniform. Which meant knee-high socks, a white blouse and a tiny red patterned skirt. I really looked like one of these school girls from the movies. My chest was way too big for the tight blouse and I was sure that one of the buttons were about to pop any moment.

"Ready to go Rivers?" Aaron shouted from downstairs, I was in our shared room changing into the terrible school uniform. I put my hair in a pony tail and took a quick look at myself in the mirror, I looked terrible as usually. Aaron knocked on the door three times before he entered. "Oh, oh, oh look at this little school girl." He walked over to me and he pinched my cheeks. "We all are so proud of you, I can't believe that our little girl is going to school for the first time..." He said in a baby voice and I slapped his hands away and rolled my eyes. "Ouch, kitten got claws." He pouted and rubbed his hands to get rid of the pain as he glared at me, he managed to look adorable and mad at the same time.

"It thought that Mrs James were driving me?" I said as I grabbed my empty school backpack from the floor, I threw it over my shoulder and headed downstairs. "Don't you have some classes or a work to attend to?" I asked. Aaron followed me downstairs and once we were at the main floor he opened the door for me, I walked out before him.

"Nope, changed plans. Regina had to go in early for work, looks like their business is a mess. How sad." He said with his voice dripping of sarcasm. I rolled my eyes and got into the car as he opened the door for me. "And no, I don't have any classes or work to attend to Miss Rivers." He said and by the tone of his voice I understand that I shouldn't ask more questions, after all one of his few rules was 'no questions'.

"How come you can call me Miss Rivers and I can't call you Mr James?" I asked with an raised eyebrow, Aaron had just gotten into the car and he started the engine. His Range Rover was automatic so it wasn't really much he had to do.

"Miss Rivers sounds hot, Mr James doesn't. Simple as that." He said with a light shrug. Butterflies started to fly around in my stomach, even though he hadn't called me hot he had still said my name and hot in the same sentence and that made the butterflies in my stomach go crazy.

"I hope that you don't mind me driving you to school." He said with a soft chuckle, he hit the pedal and drove off. I hadn't realized that he was a bad driver before, but he sure was. He was driving to fast and he was looking more at me than the road.
