Chapter 2- Rayne

"Its not my fault you forgot to get the map, Luke."

"Well I was too busy doing the old man's chores"

"Maybe if you hadn't irritated him so much, then he wouldn't have punished you."

"Hey..."

"Shut up both of you, we need to get there as fast as possible, and yes Luke, Avery is right, it is your fault and yours only."

Luke stood silently, looking sulky.

Avery said, "Well, I guess one of us should go and ask someone for directions."

A pixy looking girl said, "Well Rayne, I guess you get to do the asking since you lost the Trials the last time we played."

Rayne indignantly said," But I won, Quinn."

Qinn grinned and said," But they disqualified you there fore you lost."

"Only cause I was too strong."

"We had to use our speed, remember? You broke the rules so this is your punishment."

"Alright, alright... I'll go. Now bugger off."

Rayne looked around and spotted a guy sitting at the bus stand. She decided to approach him.

As she reached him she noticed him looking at her in a weird way. She said," Hello, I was wondering if you could help us?"

He just gawped at her.

Rayne was a bit weirded out and said a bit roughly," 'scuse me but is something wrong with you? "
Suddenly the guy snapped out of his trance and said,"I'm so sorry, its just...Err, I don't know exactly what happened. Anyways, you said something about helping you out?"

"Uh...yeah ,we need to get to the university, do you know how to get there?"

"Oh yeah sure, I'm heading there right now, you guys wanna come along."

Rayne hesitated a bit but said," Yeah, sure."

Suddenly a bus comes to a screeching halt in front of them.

"We have to get on this bus."

Rayne shouted at her group,"Guys,we have to get on this bus."

The bus was very crowded and Rayne and the guy who helped them got on one side of the bus while Rayne's group was stuck on the other side.
The bus started moving and Rayne turned to face him and said,"Hey, thanks for helping us, my name is Rayne. "

He grinned and said, "Galen! Are you guys enrolling for the university here?"

"Umm..yeah, we are new here."

"Who were those other guys with you."

"Friends."

The bus eased into the terminal.
Rayne said, "Well, I better get going,again, thanks for helping us out."
Galen smiled and said,"No problem."

Rayne got off the bus and went to meet her friends.

Rob said," Where were you ?"

"I was stuck on the other side of the bus."

Quinn said,"Chuck that, lets go."
They all walked through the Grand entrance placed there in front of the university.

Luke said,"Ugh, I hated going to school in Reklaan and now we have to go here too."

Robb said," Shut up Luke, we need to keep that a secret. "

"As if anyone here would understand anyways."

"No need to take the chance anyways." Robb said, raising his voice a bit.

"Okay man,chill!!"

As they walked down the road, Rayne wondered about Galen. She had been creeped out at first but there was just something about him that drew her to him.

"Well I'll most likely never see him again, my mission will be over soon and I'll go back home." Thinking that she continued to walk down the road with the rest of her group.
