Going to see Grandma!

Chapter 2

My grandmother's a psychic she told me when I was 15 that when I turned 18 something bad would happen to me and I would have to protect the people that I love.

I thought she was crazy and I told her that whatever she was going on about I wouldn't listen.

She told me that I would receive something and I would have to do what it says or I might die. After she said that I ran back to my house and told my mum, she rang my grandmother up and they talked for hours, I cried myself to sleep, I was scared I didn't want to die. My brother came into my room and held me until I went to sleep. After that night my mum and grandmother never talked again.

I should of listen to her, I should of believed her, she knew and I didn't listen or care.

I ripped open the letter and pulled out a list, what the hell is this, I thought.

I read it and started to shake. I then ran into the house and into my room locking the door. Then I heard some footsteps coming towards my door and a voice talking to me.

"Zoe, are you ok what happened?!, are you alright, what's going on?". I immediately recognized the voice "Maddy?".

"Yes, what's wrong?"

"Uhh, nothing.. I uhh just felt sick, where is everyone?" I asked her.

"Your mum asked them to leave, you just ran into the house crying and I was going to go after you but your mum stopped me and told everyone to go then after they went, I went after you and I'm here now" Maddy said. "Is there something your not telling me, Zoe?" Maddy asked me. "

Uhh no, not really, well maybe, possibly..."

"Just spill it, and let me in"

"Ok, come in quickly" I said.

I unlocked the door and let her in she looked really worried I wonder what thinks I'm going to tell her hmm....

"Now, come on and tell me I'm getting really worried about you, OMG are you pregnant?!"

"OMG, no really Maddy is that the best you can come up with? Really?"

"What?, I was freaking out and I don't know just forget about it ok?"

"Yea sure"

"So tell me what's going on, I know something bad is happening and I'm not leaving until you tell me" Maddy said.

"Ok, well when I was about to go inside I found a letter on the doorstep and on it, it said The List"I explained.

"Yea, so?"

"So, I opened it and it was a list of things to do".

"So, what about it what's so wrong about a list of things to do?", Maddy asked me.

So, instead of explaining what so wrong about it I showed her, when she started to read it the look of horror on her face appeared and she started to shake. "See, that's how bad it is' I told Maddy.

"Ok, I get you now, but how are you going to tell your mum about this, because when you do she'll freak out!"

"I know but my grandmother knew about this an when I was 15 she sat me down and told me about this anyway long story short she said I was going to receive something and if I didn't do what it says then I would die and so on'.

"Are you serious so what are you going to do?" Maddy asked.

"Then I guess we are going to see my grandmother' I said.

"Then I'm coming with you", Maddy quickly said.

"No I have to so this alone I can't bring anyone that's innocent into this", I said to her.

"I'm coming whether you like it or not and you can't go alone I'll help you", Maddy said.

"Fine but no whining,ok?" I said.

"Ok, let's go".

We ran out of my room with a bag of clothes for the night and into the living room.

"Mum, I'm going to see Grandma!", I yelled.

And that's when she stopped me.......
