The List

There are others?

Jack was standing there waiting for us when we hopped out of the car, he smirked and made he's way over.

"Well, hello ladies how are you?" He said whilst wearing a smirk.

"What do you want?" I said angrily.

"Nothing, it's just I was wondering if you are alright?, do you need somewhere to stay?" He asked quiet worried.

"No, Maddy and I are fine thank you very much now can I get through, please?" I said pushing him out of the way.

"Yea sure go right ahead." He said stumbling over a bit.

I walked up the driveway and into my house. I walked in with Maddy hot on my heels as I got to my room. As I walked in, I felt weird as if I shouldn't have been there in the first place. I quickly walked over to my wardrobe and got a bag and started filling it with clothes, I then went to the bathroom and got my washing essentials and makeup things and went out through the front door, Maddy and I not saying a word.

We made it back to our car and Jack was leaning against the door, looking around. I had the urge to hit him, but decided against it.

"So are you alright, do you need any help?" He asked with a worried look again.

"No, I don't need anything from you!" I snapped at him.

"Ok, I'm sorry I'm just worried about you." He said taking a step back from the car.

We hopped in and drove away to my Grandmother's house.  On the way I was thinking how strange it would be without The List in my life. It would definitely be different but I like it this way I guess, but I did want to go back to my old life because I had family and friends but now they were all gone.

We arrived at my Grandmother's house with nobody in sight, thank God. We got out and I bought my bag with me, making my way to the door. Going in brought back so many memories, th night my Grandmother was murdered and how we cried until no more tears could come out. I walked over to the lounge room dropping my bag, then sitting on the couch.

I noticed a newspaper was lying on the coffee table and picked it up. As I read the front page I was confused, how can they have done it? They couldn't have but they did.

Animals let out of local zoo by two young boys, to read the story further go to page 14....

How? How, what, who and when? So many things were going around in my head when I put it back down.

"Maddy?!, Maddy come her and read this, quickly!!" I yelled.

After that she came running in and looked at me worriedly.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Nothing, well something come and look at this" I said passing her the newspaper.

She took it from me and started reading it, she passed it back to me with a confused expression.

"But, what? I don't get it?" She asked.

"Well, the two boys let out the animals in the zoo, sooo....."I said.

"Sooo... there must be other's like us, then!" She exclaimed.

"But, no there can't be, it was only given to us and plus how would you know they could of done it for a prank." I said in a duh tone.

"No, the only logical explanation for this would be that they have The List as well." She said.

"Well, ok then but how do we find these two boys?" I asked her.

"Hmm, that's something we are going to have to figure out then...." She said trailing off.

I then picked up the newspaper and flicked to page 14 to see the story. I skimmed it trying to find some important information. I then found the important information, it might not be much but it was just enough to find them.

And sure enough that information was the two boys names James and Xavier.....
