Chapptaa 16

(Jacey's POV)

 Im so tired of all them babying me. Im an adult. I can take care of myself. I don't need to be taken care of. Im fully capable to do it by myself. Sure i could use some help once in awhile but i dont need help constantly.

I heard footsteps running behind me and was about to yell at whoever it was when i saw it was adrian. I knew he just wanted to make sure i was ok, so i let him come along. I think we need some bonding time.

He aknowledged me with a nod and i sent him a nod and continued to jog. The park was nice this time of year, so we may as well head there. There are benchs there were we can sit and talk.

"They are just worried about you jacey, i am too but i know how you can get irritated when someone tries to take care of you. I only have you and levi left. I can't lose you too. I dont't know what i would do if i did" adrian said quietly.

I thought about what he said and i stopped us and i pulled him into a hug. He has been putting up a front in front of us. I have noticed it but havent said anything.

"I'll take care of myself better okay, you wont lose me adrian. I'll always be there for you" i whispered in his ear.

"Now, Race you to the our bench" with that i quickly grabbed levi's stoller and jogged quickly to the bench that was aways away from the kids playground, and it shows a perfect view of the water. It has been mine and adrians little place for a long time. It is soothing and relaxing. We would go there when one of us was upset and the other would come and cheer the other up.

 I heard adrian laugh at my childness and start running after me. I have trained for along time and am quite fast. But adrian has done track so he is just as fast. I heard a little giggle and looked down at a smiling levi. I guess he liked the speed.

 I sped up and saw the bench in my view. I looked back and saw adrian about 3-feet behing me. He smiled at me then sped up. We were now running along side each other. We reached the bench at the same time, even though i knew i got there first i let him believe that we tied.

  There was a guy sitting at our bench, he looked to be in his early twenties, maybe 22. He had a guitar in his lap and a camera crew around him. I looked more closely at him and i recognized him as Phillip Phillips.

Adrian's eyes lite up instantly. I knew Phillip was his idol. I smiled and gave adrian a piece of paper and a sharpie that was is the compartment where i put levi's diaper bag and softly pushed him in the direction of his idol.

Phillip noticed adrian coming towards him and smiled. Adrian shyly handed over the paper and sharpie. "And who should i make this out to?" he said. "Ad-Adrian" I laughed. Usually he is never shy. My laugh must of caught Phillip's attention because he looked over at me and smiled then signed adrians paper.

Phillip looked at me and raised his eyebrow. "Would you like anything signed Miss?" I grabbed another paper and handed it to him. "Who shall i make this out to beautiful" he said with a smile. I knew Kaden was a fan of him too so why not make up for our fight this morning. "Kaden" he looked kind of dissapointed and at that i had to laugh. "He's my boss, he is addicted to your music." he nodded and signed it then handed it back to me.

Adrian was smiling quite widely. I smiled at him. He hasnt truly smiled since my parents death. Phillip must of noticed my change of mood. "Whats wrong?" he asked sincerly. "He has been through alot lately and this is the first time he is truly happy." i said sadly. "Adrian would you like to hear a song and be in a video of mine." Phillip spoke to my brother softly. Adrian looked so happy that i thought he would burst with happiness. He nodded really fast and looked to me for comfirmation. I nodded and smiled. Phillip started talking to adrian and his camera crew.

 I saw two police officers walking along the path and the one on the left was handsome beyond belief. He looked to be in his early twenties. The same as the man beside him, the man that was beside him looked to have a little bit of mexican in him. The police officer that i noticed first looked up and noticed our small crowd and nodded at his partner.

 He then looked up again stared right into my eyes. I stared into his and i got lost in his eyes. It felt like it was just the two of us in the world. I forgot about all my problems when i looked into his eyes. I never felt this way with anyone else, Not even Troy. Even under this strangers gaze i felt safe. He was the one. My mother always told me the effect she had gotten from my dad, when they had first met.

 I was taken out of my thoughts and the stare down with the stranger when adrian pulled on my arm, trying to get my attention. Adrian nodded at phillip when i noticed that he was now sitting on the bench with the guitar in his lap staring at me and the stranger then at his crew and nodded at me and the stranger.

I had a feeling that he wanted me and the stranger in the video.....
