War on Namek!

Goku smirked as he ducked beneath Zarbon's leg swing, quickly jumping up and slamming both of his fists into his head. Zarbon growled as he caught himself, quickly launching himself up and sending Goku sliding back with an energy blast. 

The Saiyan from Earth lowered his arms, grinning as he stood straight and rubbed the back of his head. "Hey, you know you don't have to hold back against me, right? I can tell you're holding back, still!" Zarbon took slow breaths before smirking back, wiping the sweat and blood from his face before clenching his fists tight. 

"I will give you credit, Saiyan. I am indeed holding back my true power. I don't enjoy the process I undergo to access it, but since I plan on killing you, I'll show you true terror!" Goku crossed his arms and smiled, waiting patiently as Zarbon growled and began to transform. His body swelled like a balloon and his handsome form mutated into an almost froglike shape. Goku's eyes widened slightly as he sensed Zarbon's power skyrocket, and he laughed nervously.

"Ehehehe, man you weren't kidding! That's one hell of a power up! I guess I should stop holding back myself!" He cracked his knuckles before tensing up, his aura surging around him and lifting his hair before he launched forward, meeting Zarbon in a flurry of rapid attacks. Goku yelled out as his fist met Zarbon's, the pair pushing against each other and growling as the ground cracked at their feet. 

Vegeta growled as he watched the 5 ships tear across the sky, sensing the powerful forces that had just arrived. He looked down at his collection of 5 Dragon Balls. "Dammit. I need to hurry before they find the other Dragon Balls. I'm too close to have it all fall apart now!" He turned on his heel to take off when he felt Goku's power surge, and he smirked. "Good, teach Zarbon not to underestimate us Saiyans!" He took off into the sky, unaware of the figure hiding nearby. Krillin stepped out, alongside a young Namekian, and they watched Vegeta disappear before they nodded to each other, approaching the Dragon Balls he had left. 

Gohan panted as he landed, tossing the Dragon Ball to Bulma's feet before he took back to the sky, heading straight back to where Goku and Zarbon battled. He pushed himself hard to fly faster when a blur of blue dashed in his path, cutting him off. He stopped and tensed up as a large, blue alien crossed his arms and examined Gohan closely. "You. Where is Vegeta?" Gohan swallowed and glanced around, searching for a route to escape. 

"Ah, ah. Don't try it, runt. I'm faster than anything you've ever seen!" The blue alien appeared behind him, raising his hand and knocking Gohan to the ground quickly. He hit the ground hard and slid into some nearby rocks, getting buried as Burter landed across from him. "Just tell me where Vegeta took the Dragon Balls, and I'll make sure you die quickly." He watched the rubble before growling, raising his hand as energy pooled in his palm. Just as he was going to fire, another voice rang out above. 

"Burter! We are to report to Lord Frieza first! Let's go!" Burter clicked his teeth before taking off, leaving Gohan to pull himself free and wipe the dirt from his face. "I have to warn Dad!" 

Goku shook his head of dirt and debris as he got to his feet, slowly narrowing his eyes at Zarbon. Both of them had battle damage, both breathing heavily and covered in wounds. Zarbon raised a hand and focused his energy into it, and Goku cupped his own hands, chanting as Zarbon launched his attack. 

"Kamehameha!" The beams collided and warped into each other, sending dust and pressure surging outward. Goku growled as he dug his feet in before closing his eyes, yelling out as he dumped his remaining energy into the clash. Zarbon's eyes widened as his attack was enveloped and he tripped backwards, falling into the beam as it tore at his body. He cried out in pain before it cut him off, burning the air in his lungs away before he exploded along with the wave. Goku panted heavily and dropped to a knee, relaxing for a moment before staggering to his feet. "Okay. One down, an army to go." He chuckled weakly to himself before turning, walking away from the crater filled region he had battled in. He looked up and spotted 5 figures flying overhead and he ducked, watching them disappear on the horizon.
