I moaned from the tapping sunlight against my face. I blinked, shut my eyes and blinked again. I yawned, managing to fully open both eyes. I looked at the black cubed alarm clock on my night stand. It was 7:30. I got out of bed and walked over to my closet to get my clothes for the day. I walk into the bathroom with my fresh clothes and put them on the counter. I turned the shower on got undressed and hopped in. As the hot water stream collided with my skin I was immediately woken up. I closed my eyes, and the hot steam envelopes my body. As I wash the suds of shampoo and body wash off me, the water is sending them in little streams down my back.

Once I got out of the shower I slowly dried myself and got changed. I left my hair alone knowing that it would dry on its own. By now it's 7:50. I grabbed my bag from my black bean bag chair in the corner of my room. As I was walking down stairs I was greeted by the savoury aroma of bacon. My mom was in the kitchen with a plate of bacon beside the stove top.

"Good morning honey," my mother greeted as I walked into the kitchen.

"Morning," I replied.

I grabbed a couple pieces of bacon from the plate. My mom put an egg on a plate and pushed it closer to me. I put my pieces of bacon on it and walked over to table to eat it. I ate it as quickly as I could without dying. I sat on the couch scrolling through my Twitter feed waiting for Adrian to pick me up. I can drive, but I don't have my own car and my mom has to take the car to work.

When Adrian got here I walked into the dining room where my mother now was. I told her I was leaving then grabbed my bag and walked out the door.

"Good morning," he said gently placing a kiss on my cheek.

"Hey," I said.

"What's wrong?" he asked me.

"Nothing," I said, "I'm still a little tired."

"K," he said putting his foot on the gas pedal. With a small jolt we were on our way to school.

When we got to school I went straight to my locker to get my stuff for Art. I made my way to the art room for first period. After attendance we were assigned partners for our group project. I saddened to find out that my partner was non other than Chase. The project was pretty simple: draw a picture on a large piece of wood then cut it into ten pieces and color half with one color and the other half with a color from the opposite side of the color wheel.

"You will have this class to work on this," Mr. Kari explained, "So, you have to figure out a way to finish it by next week." I internally groaned at his statement. I knew that since I was working with Chase we'd get nothing done, or I'd be stuck doing the whole thing.

Chase turned to face me, "After school, meet me by the bike racks so we can work on the project."

"You actually want to work on the project?" I asked, "Wow."

"Well ya, I need to keep my grades up to stay on the team."

"We should get started then," I said giving a little chuckle.

We started with a rough outline of a zebra, which is the picture we agreed on. I let Chase draw it, I never realized how good he is at drawing. Once he finished drawing the zebra he gave the block of wood to Mr. Kari to cut. He gave us the pieces back and we decided who would use what colors.

When the class ended we had just decided that I was going to be using purples and Chase was going to use yellows.

This is probably really boring and short, but whatever. It's kind of just a filler for what I want to happen so bare with me.
