Moving... To Denmark?!

Next Day

I wake up to my alarm and get out of bed. I put on white running shorts, my purple and white Nike Free Runs, and a purple running shirt. I grab my iPod Nano and ear buds. I hook my Nano to my shirt and stretch. I finish stretching and start my run. I pass Benjamin's house and his room light is on. He looks out his windows and knocks on it. I look up and he waves. I wave back and start running.

I finish my run at 6:30 and my mom asks,

"How was your run?"

"Good." I pant.

I head upstairs and take a shower. I blow dry my hair and go into my room. I put on jean shorts, a white tank top and a black lace blazer with my galaxy print Vans. I do my makeup and put my hair in a chunky fishtail braid. I pack my laptop, binder, and textbooks and lunch in my backpack. Benjamin texts me saying,

"I'm outside."

I quickly brush my teeth, put on perfume and lip balm. I run outside and meet Benjamin. He holds my hand and we head to school.

"Do you want to hang out after school? I thought we could go to the park and the mall." Benjamin suggests.

"Sure. Sounds fun." I say.

"Thank god it's Friday. This has been the toughest week of my life." I say.

"Don't worry, Jess. It'll get better. I promise." Benjamin says.

We get to school and I put my lunch away and walk to class with Ben, April and Tobias. Benjamin and Tobias sit next to each other, and I sit next to Benjamin with April on my other side. We sit in the way back of the room and talk while we take notes. When it's time for lunch, I quickly leave and run to my locker and grab my lunch. I walk to the cafeteria and sit at our lunch table. Everyone else comes and April asks,

"Why'd you leave so quickly?"

I didn't want to tell her about yesterday, it's no big deal now. But I don't want to lie to her. She's my good friend, but I just won't tell her.

"I'm just really hungry." I mumble.

After school, Benjamin and I go home really quick to put our backpacks away. I go outside and Ben and I start heading to the town. Benjamin holds my hand. I smile. We get into town and imiadietly go into Starbucks. I order a cotton candy frappe and Benjamin gets a vanilla bean frappe. We walk to the park and sit on a bench. We drink our frappes and sit there. I hold his hand and he smiles. I sit pretzel style on the bench and put my drink down.

I look around, there are adults talking, kids playing on the jungle gym, and an older couple taking a walk. It's also really warm out. Benjamin kisses my cheek, then I kiss him back. We stand u and walk around more, then we go to a little café for dinner. I get a salad and Benjamin gets a chicken Panini. After we eat, we go to my house and watch a movie. Then, it starts to storm.
