Let it Go

I was in the car with Victor when we pulled up to Nathan's, they said they were planning a themed night that they thought I might enjoy. Some movie that was really popular I guess. Victor had taken me to get a massage while we let them set up. I kept asking what movie the theme was going to be based off but Victor wouldn't tell me anything.

Victor came around to open my door and I got out and walked next to him to the house. When we got to the door Victor placed a blindfold over my eyes.

"Why do I need to wear this?" I asked.

"Gabe wants you to see the room from a certain spot and will not have it ruined." Victor explained. I smiled, they really planned this night out.

I was lead into the house and I could hear all the guys talking in another room. Soon I was placed on the couch and something heavy was placed on my head. Then I was handed a stuffed animal and told the show will begin soon.

What in the world was going on? A show?

I heard a knocking and then, "Elsa?" Nate said in a girly voice.

I pulled the blindfold off and saw Nate in a dress knocking on a door.

"Go away Anna!" I heard Gabe shout in a high pitch voice from the other side of the door.

I looked down at the animal they gave me to find it was a snowman, Olaf. They were going to perform Frozen? I had heard about this movie but I had never seen it, the girls all at school said it was a funny Disney movie that everyone had to see.

I looked back up at the guys and listened to them sing and play out scenes. North even had a part as the reindeer. It was all way too funny and I could barely stop laughing by the end of it.

"Are you ready for hot chocolate and watching the movie now?" Gabe asked when they were done.

"Yes, but you all have to stay in costume!" I said watching Nate spins around in circles, making his dress spin out.
They all piled into the living room, bringing snacks with them. Gabe put the video in and I couldn't hold back my laughter when I saw that it was the sing-a-long version. We all watched the movie and I was slightly surprised when I saw North's lips move along to the songs. Of course Gabe, Nate and Luke were belting out every single word to every song.

"Time to build a snowman!" Gabe shouted as he jumped to his feet when the movie finished.

"There is no snow." I said pointing out what he must have somehow forgotten.

"I know that silly, we are going to be using cotton balls." Gabe said.

We all moved into the kitchen and found a few bags of cotton balls, some fake snow and blue construction paper. I concentrated on making my snowman and every time I looked up I could see the guys all extremely engrossed in making their snowman too.

"What is all of this?" I heard from behind me.

I turned around and found Mr. Blackbourne and Sean looking over our shoulders.

"Making snowmen. Grab some stuff and build." Luke said not letting his eyes leave his paper.

"Can I just help Ms. Sorenson?" Mr. Blackbourne ask looking around and at me for consent.

"Sure, you can help me." I said moving off my chair. I pulled a few things off the table and took it all to the living room so we could both work on it.

"I think I will help them." Sean said while pulling more supplies and following us.

"Are we trying to make him fluffy?" Mr. Blackbourne asked me looking at my snowman. I had been pulling apart cotton balls and so far only had glued on the base of the snowman. I also had added some of the fake snow on top to give it a more sparkly and soft look.

"Pretty much, you two should add some more snowmen to the picture though." I said.

"I can add some paper so that there is enough room for more." Sean said pulling the snowman toward him. I nodded and he started to tape some extra pages on. I worked on pulling more cotton balls apart and Sean started to glue them on. Mr. Blackbourne worked on adding snowflakes to the background, adding glitter on a few.

When we all finished we taped them to the sliding glass door to the back. I stood back and smiled at our 10 snowmen, felling content and happy. I didn't get to enjoy the view for long before I was pulled off my feet though to have a dance party in the living room. I smiled as I watched Mr. Blackbourne singing along to 'Let it go' next to a very loud Sean.
