Agonizing Eyes.

I want to apologize,

I really do.

But I dont have what it takes to walk up to you.

To see the disappointment that lies beneath your eyes.

I can feel your criticism.

I can hear your anger.

No longer am I trustworthy.

For that trait has been broken.

Or has it always been gone?

You may not see the shame in me when I feel I have let you down.

But it's there just invisible in this thin,

thin air.

This is my apology.
