Arabella sat down watching Isabella playing around with her toys. What such a precious gift that lady Amber had given to me. Suddenly she heard Luke's voice jamming into her head once more.
She is a very beautiful baby after all, Arabella. Arabella had spoken accidentally through her mind once more. A week ago, they all had been told to wear their white uniform that was issued after their battle in the training arena. Arabella had learned that she was a leader of all the boys in her group, and that Luke was her secondhand person. As she got ready, she put her hair up in a neat, sleek ponytail then turned over to the bag she hid under her bed once they arrived. The blood rushed through her veins quickly, and she stood up going over to it, unzipping the pack, and taking out the syringe that contained the deadly disease.
In the mid afternoon, guards came to each of the Hunters' rooms and escorted them to the laboratory underground. They pushed Arabella forward, and she rolled her eyes as she nearly stumbled. Holding the container, her hands grew cold and clammy.
There her parents stood beside each other watching the hunters approach. She saw Luke from across and they made eye contact with each other. Every other person surrounding the girl with the blue-rimmed eyes. Alex had waited with scientists who were dying to speak to Arabella.
"You may walk up here Arabella," one lady calmly spoke. She wore a white lab coat, and her hair was tied in a bun.
Arabella looked around as she picked up her feet to make her way to the middle of the closed room. Guards, family, friends, and the scientists had all been in one room surrounding the girl who held the disease. "I hope this is a cure."
"How'd you get it?" They asked.
Max raised his hand with pride, but she only rolled her eyes once more, "I shot one of the Runners that been chasing us for two months."
Whispers and murmurs filled the atmosphere. Talking about the teenagers travel, and these 'runners' that'd been killing multiple people.
"You know," Arabella obnoxiously spoke loud then settled her voice down, "What you saw in that arena is something we've dealt with in the real world before actually coming here. Hard to believe, I know. But if you look around, my friends are different.. I guess they came with these type of skills."
Alex smirked, "Oh Arabella you are truly a tough girl. Cute too."
"She's mine," Luke hissed under his breath with a hint of jealousy. Arabella only glared at him, then handed the box with the contaminated syringe. She made her way towards Luke, and sighed.
After the entire process of finding medicine, Chris was stuck trying to flirt with other girls to see if they'd go to him. Noah and Dalton sat together playing games. Max had been talking to Dee and Michael. Guards have been sent out to find the missing girls. And lastly, Arabella wandered off into the secret garden only she and Luke knew about.
"Can I ask you a question," he murmured sheepishly as he watched his footsteps. Arabella looked at the sky and nodded her head with approval. "You don't like Alexander right?"
Her eyes widened and smiled, "Are you jealous?"
"Don't play with me Bella," he firmly assured.
She only shook her head, "I hate Alex."
"Good," he chuckled and swung his arm around her.
