The hotel room was cold☃ with a little kitchen and bathroom it was only for tonight I could care less. I shook off my shoes and went to the bathroom. I texted☎ Emma the information and turn my phone off. Taking down my hair which was in a wavy mess, I turn the shower on to my liking and step in. I bet I was in there for atleast an hour because I looked down to my fingers and they were all wrinkly. I get out and put on the same clothes and lay in the bed and turned on the tv.
" Boring.. Kinda interesting. No.. Nope." I grumble
I stopped on the news which I was about to turn off until the newsreporter came on and said " Last night a couple with 3 children were all brutally murdered the authorities aren't giving much information as of right now but we've been told the murderer has not been found. Until then we must caution anyone until this killer has been found thank you this has been 12 O'clock news Good night"
And with that a commercial came on.
"Crazies these day.." I whisper to myself
" Oh come on they deserved it."
Then everything is mute like everything just stops I look around the room there was nothing absolute nothingness. I feel a shiver run down my spine I get up and go the window and look outside all I had was a good view of the ocean which I continued to stare at. I wish I could stay like this and not do anything just lay and watch the ocean all day.
" Nice view isn't it."
This is what got me to stand up not even look behind me go to my door open and walk out I wasn't going to even try to fucking comprehend what was just happening. I just walk until I find myself at the soda machine leaning on it and sliding down.
" Don't run away I don't like that." I hear someone snap
Now I'm angry.
" Well there is absolutely no one in sight so keep talking." I groan
" Ah so you believe I'm not here right now." I can now tell it's a male
" There is nobody around so I'm going to tell myself your the drinking talking."
I hear him let out a laugh. " This is absolutely hilarious if I must say..." He laughs more
" Shut up." I just need rest I'm hearing things
" Don't snap at me I could have already mutated your body if I wanted to." He whispers loudly
" Wow okay good night brain." I laugh
" You still think I'm your brain right now I don't really think you have one it seems at the moment." He laughs
" The only reason I think that is because there is no one around!" I say while turning in a circle
" Well I can see you perfectly and by the way your outfit looks great." He says in a high pitched voice
" Then let me see you weirdo.." I groan
" I would but I don't-
I cut him off " Fine I'm going to sleep bye weirdo."
" That's not really nice you know." he states
" Good Night." I stop waiting
" Jeff."
" Well good night Jeff oh and by the way can you not go near my room thanks." I state bluntly
" I'll be watching just remember that oh and by the way ."
I cut him off again " Good Bye Jeff." I say walking back to my room I get to my room and close the door and lock it. Holy Shit what just happened OH MY GOSH WHAT JUST HAPPENED. I hear a faint knock. Nope I'm not answering, the knocking continues.
" Hello.." I call out
" Just letting you know I'm not through with you." I hear someone through the door. I hear laughter I run to the window and look out there was nobody there except a man at the end of the corridor he stops turns and I can see what he was wearing the white sweatshirt and black pants. I look up to see him wave and turn around and continue walking.
I don't remember anything really after that just seeing black and going to sleep.
I awoke with loud banging on the door and a somewhat small girl's voice.
'Ashlen open the door and lets go!" She yells and laughs
Regaining my strength and open the door a girl attacks me with a hug.
" Hello Emma how are you today?" I say smiling at her
" I'm doing fine miss Ashlen are you ready to leave this place?" She asks
" Very much Emma-san." I say laughing and bowing to her
I grab my phone and look around she snaps me out of my trance and pulls me out of the room and drags me to my car. She stops and throws me the keys.
" Can you drive I have to make a call?"
" Yeah." I say suspiciously
" Don't worry about." She says noticing my confusion
" Alrighty then." I jump in the car. I look back at my room to see the door wide open and the guy from last night standing in the doorway. He turns back around and looks down at the car.
" Oh my.." I whisper in shock
Emma looks at me and looks to where I am looking but he is already gone like there was nothing ever there. She snaps me out of my thought.
" Ashlen?" she looks worried
I gulp and breathe out " Nothing I'm still a little woozy." I fake a laugh
She gave me the look of I know you are lying I won't do anything now but I will get it out of you later
" I'm alright seriously." I give her a genuine smile I really didn't want to worry her
I was waiting to pull out I look out the rearview mirror he was gone I sigh maybe I just drank to much, but I know I seen someone last night I have the feeling this won't be the last.
