Chapter 9 Proving that I'm not lying (Lizzy's POV)

​​The next day i was going to prove to Sienna that I am not lying to her about Louis being a vampire. I get dressed in my best shirt and pants and head towards Starbucks. I told my friend to meet me there so I decide to get there before she does. As I park I think to myself. I hope they are here, and I hope that it will be fast and we won't get caught. He is a vampire and who knows if they will kill us. A few minutes later, Sienna comes into Starbucks. 

​​"I hope you're not lying." Sienna tells me as she joins me at the table that I saved for the two of us. 

​​"I'm not and this will prove it." I reply, feeling confident. 

​​"I hope so." She says. 

​​ As we wait for Louis and his friends, it starts to get lighter outside. It seemed like hours that we sat in our seats just waiting. I look at Sienna and she starts to look mad. 

​​"I can't believe that you had me almost start to believe that you were telling the truth." She says starting to get out of her chair. 

​​ "What are you talking about!? I am telling the truth." I say getting up from my chair. "It may seem like I'm not, but I really am! They're just going to be here later than I thought." 

​​"Or maybe this is all just a joke and-"she starts but is cut off by me. 

​​"Why would I joke about something as serious as this." I tell her, starting to feel the tears form in my eyes. 

​​"I think I should leave you with our lies and never speak to you again!" she says heading towards the door. 

​​"Sienna Wait!" I yell, running after her. We both run for a while until she can't run any more and I catch up to her. 

​​"What do you want!" she asks me, turning around to face me. 

​​"I want you to know that I would never lie to you and that I can still prove it." I explain. "Just wait, even if it takes all day." 

​​"I hope that this isn't a waste of time." She says , as we walk back to Starbucks. 

​​We sit back in our table and wait. About an hour later, I hear a noise. Me and my friend go towards the noise and find Louis and the boys yet again, surrounding a girl. Was it always girls? Sienna looks at me and nods. I take that as a signal to go back to my house. Once we get to our vehicles, Sienna hugs me and says she's sorry for almost ending our friendship. Then we both go home, knowing that what we just saw was real and not a lie.
