His name is Logan.

The next hour, I called Fury and asked if I could visit the S.H.I.E.L.D. base to talk to him. He didn't want me to at first, but he finally said yes because of my persistence.
So, the next few minutes found me taking one of Tony's cars, and driving to the base. I wasn't supposed to know where it was, but I was involved with the Avengers, I was actually supposed to be one . . .
Anyway, I made my way there, arriving in style, which turned a few heads. Maybe I should stop drawing attention to myself like that, considering I was taken, and in fact, by someone with a lot of power.
"Fury," I said, spotting the Director, with his trusty friend Coulson beside him. He turned slightly, his long, black trench coat brushing against his leg.
Coulson smiled when he saw me, and walked briskly towards me with his arms extended. "It's good to see you are safe and well, Avallone," he said, his voice comforting me. I didn't know I needed to be comforted.
"What is it you wanted to speak to me about?" Fury questioned, getting straight down to business. I smiled inwardly to myself before replying, "I wanted to ask about someone called Logan."
"There are many Logan's in the world, Avallone, and you know that," he said with a haughty smile. Man, I didn't see that often. Note the sarcasm.
I returned the 'kind' gesture and uttered, "I have a feeling that you know what Logan I am talking about, Fury."

I glanced at the file in Fury's outstretched hand, and then at his serious face.
"Take it Clancy," he said sternly. I did as he said, and he left the room. Man, he was cold.
The file was classified - wait, hold on a sec, why was S.H.I.E.L.D. still using physical files of something? Surely, this guy's file would be stored in a computer somewhere, right? Ugh, whatever, it doesn't matter.

After reading his file for the second time, because I didn't quite believe it all the first time I read it, I sat back in shock. When Wanda said he was going through the same kind of thing, she really wasn't kidding.
He was immortal, in the most mortal way he could be. His adamantium claws and his healing abilities were incredibly impressive, but the file said he was quite a hostile person. That sentence had sent a shudder down my back, especially the second time I read it. I did not deal well with hostile people. Not at all.
I closed the 'classified' file, with a smile, and placed it on the nearest table. But another file caught my eye before I turned to leave. It was another classified file, and my curiosity burned.
Fury was smart, and he wouldn't have left this on the table unless he wanted me to see it.
So, I picked it up, and I learned about a new hero called Antman.

"Your friend, Logan, where does he live?" I asked Wanda, watching her dangle her legs over the side of the roof. She was becoming more and more like me, I think. It's kind of hard to say when you don't really yourself all that well.
Wanda shrugged, "I don't know. He's probably still at Xavier's."
I had read about Charles Xavier's Institution for Gifted Children with a smile. It seemed like a fantastic place, and I wanted to visit. Now, I definitely had a reason to go.
"Do you think they'd mind if I just showed up?" I questioned, worried about whether they would reject or accept me.
"Everyone there is really nice, and Charles will understand you, so don't worry about it," she said, with a tight smile on her pretty face.
I frowned, "why didn't you stay there then?"
Wanda just shrugged and then walked away. I sighed, knowing that would have to be another wall for me to knock down. I had made some progression lately, but I struggled a lot when it came to knocking down her walls. They were super high, and I often had to knock down my own before I could do the same to hers.
Returning to my room, I marked on the calendar that I would be going to Xavier's next week. Before then I wanted to get my motorcycle license so I could take one of Tony's motorcycles. He said that he didn't ride them, and wouldn't mind giving them to me if I got my license.
It was scheduled for the day after tomorrow, and I was super excited. If I passed, which I hopefully will, I will finally have my own form of transportation, so I didn't have to always borrow Tony's.

I decided to pass the rest of my afternoon catching up with my best friend, Natasha. We hadn't talked in ages, and the sad thing was we hadn't been clicking lately. I didn't feel the same connection I did when we were closer.
Instead, I was becoming more friendly with Wanda, who understood me better, and was always giving me great advice. Nat wasn't one for good advice. She was my training buddy, my mission bestie, and my drinking friend, and it would probably be best if it stayed that way.
We decided to just be normal friends, not best friends, because it suited both of us better. She needed to spend time with Bruce, and I was determined to break down Wanda's walls.

I had a feeling that Wanda wasn't telling me something, and it was itching on my mind all the time. I wanted to ask her every time I saw her, but I knew that I shouldn't. In time she would tell me, or I would learn for myself. I just needed to trust her.
Trust was the one thing that would help me break down the walls she had built up after her brother died.

Lately, music has been the one thing that had helped me get to sleep lately. Without it, I would lie awake for hours, tossing and turning, thoughts spinning around in my hand, driving me slowly insane.
Music was the only cure.
So, as I lay down to sleep, I turned on my music, and let the words slowly lull me to sleep.

'Hey girl, open the walls, play with your dolls. We'll be a perfect family . . .'
