I prayed to the gods as I rested my hand on his shoulder. If he survived for one more day, I was sure that I'd be able to find our friends and save him.It was only a matter of time before he -
"Avallone."
I squeezed tighter, but felt no shoulder beneath my fingers. Instantly, I realized what was happening.
"Coulson no, you can't leave me," I began to beg. He was already leaving so quickly, there wasn't much left of my friend now.
His eyes filled with tears. "You did all you could Avallone. Don't blame yourself for other's mistakes."
I screamed as his words faded with the rest of his body. Dust clouded around me for a brief moment and then disappeared forever. Agent Phil Coulson was no more and I was all alone.
