Relationships

"Relationships are funny. You spend all this time in life being independent and fighting for yourself. Once you find that person that can make your heart beat faster than it should, that independence somewhat lessens. It's not that you can't fight on your own it's just that you simply do not want to. A relationship wrecks you and completes you in a sense."

For starters, I am not the best at relationships. I will tell you why: I have never been in a relationship.. And I am 17 years old. But I don't think there is anything embarrassing about it. It kind of shows that I can do a lot on my own and that I am an independent woman. Even though I'm not really a woman yet. I mean, I'm not even an adult, yet I'm sometimes acting like one.

I know that when I do get in a relationship, one day. I won't be clingy. I'm not going to text first all the time, the boys can come up to me and talk to me if they want to or I just won't talk to them probably. Or if a guy will give me those short answers (which I strongly dislike) I won't reply to him. Apparently I'm good at pushing people away, because if you keep distancing yourself from me, I eventually will give up and won't talk to you anymore.

And I can say one thing: I was fine before you came, so if you leave I will be fine again.

I also know for a fact that everyone who goes through heartbreak, will be able to get over it. You can get over the person who broke you and move on. Forgive & forget right? If they ask forgiveness, just say to them: I want to forgive you, and I want to forget you.

It may seem harsh but trust me, you will feel so much better after that.

"If they respect you, respect them. If they disrespect you, still respect them, do not allow the actions of other to decrease your good manner, because you represent yourself, not others."

Respect is one of the most important things in a relationship, just like trust and honesty. Just always have respect for each other, for everyone. Because if you don't, they probably won't respect you either and do you really want that to happen? I know I wouldn't want that to happen.

"A real love letter is made of insight, understanding, and compassion. Otherwise it's not a love letter. A true love letter can produce a transformation in the other person, and therefore in the world. But before it produces a transformation in the other person, it has to produce a transformation within us. Some letter may take the whole of our lifetime to write."

I feel like love letters are a beautiful thing. I have never received one, sadly. I would like to though. Just to get that tingly feeling, which I have never felt before. I have to admit, love, it scares the shit out of me. But I know I will get over that feeling.

While writing this, the song 'She's not afraid' – by One Direction came on and it's about being scared to fall in love. I can relate that song. You should listen to that song, it's really a fun song!

You people can always ask for advice for everything and I will do my best to help you. I'm no expert but my friends say I'm good at giving advice.

What about you? What is your best experience with relationships? Let me know and I hope you liked this part J
