Reading

"If you find a girls who reads, keep her close. When you find her up at 2 AM clutching a book to her chest and weeping, make her a cup of tea and hold her. You may lose her for a couple of hours but she will always come back to you. she'll talk as if the characters in the book are real, because for a while, they always are. Date a girl who reads because you deserve it. You deserve a girl who can give you the most colorful life imaginable. If you can only give her a monotony, and stale hours and half-baked proposals, then you're better off alone. If you want the world and the world's beyond it, date a girl who reads."

One of the things that I love to do is reading. I've already read like three books this year. I've read the fifth book of The Mortal Instruments (can't remember the whole title), Girl Online (by Zoella) and Paper Towns. I'm reading To Kill A Mockingbird at the moment, which is a more difficult book I'd say, but I think that is just because my native language isn't English.. I'm planning on finishing To Kill A Mockingbird at least in February.

A lot of people look at me in a weird way when they find out I like reading, I don't know why. They will ask me things like, why are you reading? That's boring. But I actually find some sort of joy in getting lost in a book.

I always get lost in a book. When I start reading I find it so hard to put the book away. I also don't hear a single thing somebody says to me as I'm reading. I'm too focused for that. For a moment the characters are real in my head, the story and everything that happens is real. I always start imagining what the main characters look like in my head. And if there is movie made from the book I just hope that they look a little the same. (in my head and in the movie)

Most of my friends and a lot of people in general that I know, read. Which I think is nice, because you have always something to talk about. That's always a good thing, right? Otherwise it would be really quiet and awkward and we don't want that to happen now do we?

I find a certain calmness when I read. It is my way, well one of my ways, to relax. I can easily read a book a day. I will be reading all day and won't hear anything.

I actually had my English speaking test a couple of days ago and I had to talk about a book that I've read. My teacher asked me like the normal question, why I liked the book and why I've chosen to read it. And then he asked me why I read... I couldn't even give him a normal question, just because there are a lot of reasons but the main reason is, is that it relaxes me. Especially when I don't have anything to do for a while or when I'm really stressed for school. I'll just grab a book get comfy and get lost in the book.

I always get so into the story that I sometimes find it hard to finish it. That's why I've read multiple books more than once.
