I woke up to someone shaking me like an earthquake.

"Z, what time is it?" I mumbled.

"It's six. Time to get up. Early bird gets the worm!" She said sounding like she was wide awake. I groaned. That was one thing I didn't like when Zora spent the night. She was a big morning person.

"Yeah, but the second mouse gets the cheese." I backfired. I groaned again because she would not stop shaking me. I got out of bed. "Fine. I'm up. Now I'm going to do my morning routine." I said. She just nodded. We have had so many sleepovers we were already used to each other's routines.

I walked over to my closet and grabbed some clothes. I grabbed a blue shirt that said My other t-shirt is funnier, and some blue jeans. I went to the bathroom and changed. I brushed my teeth and went back to my room. Z was already changed and ready to go. I put on some eyeliner, which is the only makeup I wear on a daily basis.

"Ok, let's go ahead and leave. Maybe we can grab some Starbucks on the way. I'm driving." I said. We walked downstairs and got into my car. We did end up getting Starbucks. I ordered a Iced Cinnamon Dolce Latte and Z got a Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino. We drove in silence. The coffee wasn't really helping. I still felt like a zombie from lack of sleep.

We pulled into the school parking lot. It was six forty five, so nobody was really here. We got out and went our separate ways. Zora's locker was towards the front of the building, and mine farther down. It's because her last name is Archer and mine is Quinn. I walked to my locker, which looked the same as usual. I didn't do anything to it on the inside because it was too much work at the end of the year.

I was pulling books out of my locker, when hands came over my eyes. I would have screamed, but I've gotten used to it by now.

"Blaze! What did I tell you about doing that? Next time I'm gonna elbow you in the gut." I said, turning around. Blaze was standing there, looking the same as usual. He had red hair, and he always kept it spiked up. He was wearing a red shirt that said Hotter Than The Sun on it and hot pink skinny jeans. When I say skinny, I mean like super skinny jeans. Okay, if you haven't gotten it yet, Blaze is gay. He doesn't admit it to everyone, but the way he dresses gives it away sometimes. He still likes to pretend like he's straight. I don't want the whole school to make fun of him so I help. I'm his on-and-off "girlfriend".

"Sorry! Don't hit my gut!" He said, feigning fear. I just rolled my eyes and turned back around to put everything else in my bag.

"So what are you here to bother me about?" I said. He hesitated to speak, and I instantly knew something was wrong. I set my bag in my locker and turned around. "Blaze, tell me what happened." I demanded.

He scratched the back of his neck. "Well, I'm here to break up with you once and for all." He said, still looking nervous.

"If that's what you're worried about saying, it's fine. I'm not the least bit offended."

"No, no. There's more." He sighed and bit his lip. "Well, you see, it's really a funny story."

"Blaze. Don't beat around the bush. Just tell me."

"Well, Evan was talking to me and was really coming on to me. I am telling you I wasn't taking anything wrong, either. He kept checking me out, licking his lips while looking me in the eyes, and saying I looked great and things like that."

"Oh. My. God. Blaze, I swear if you tell me you tried anything-"

"No. No! I know he's straight. Anyways, I was saying something to him, and he 'tripped,'" He made quotes with his fingers, "And he fell on top of me. But that's not all. When he fell, his lips caught mine. I thought he was full-on trying to kiss me. When he pulled away, I leaned in and kinda kissed him. He, uh, pulled away and called me fag. Then he walked away."

"Holy shit, Blaze! Really? You know Evan is uber-popular!"

"I know, I know. Anyways, I'm finishing our fake relationship because they aren't going to cut me any slack. I don't want you to be messed with today. I'm sorry, Ronnie." He said sadly. That was the thing about populars. No matter if you're straight or gay they will find a way to lure you in. They lure you in to do bad things towards them, like for example trying to get a gay guy to kiss you, and then they ruin you life for it. They spread rumors, pick on you, hurt you, et cetera.
