Your POV

I stare at Kid for a moment before sighing and looking at the ground with a slight grin across my lips. Kid chuckles at the thought of his own statement.

"Your so weird Kid. Your just now realizing that? I thought for sure you of all people would know exactly who I am. I mean... You did have a crush on me as children." Kid chokes on his breath and coughs for about a good 30 seconds then blushes.

"Um, yeah... Lets not talk about the past." He says while rubbing the back of his head, his face looking as red as blood its self. Then Liz and Patty look at Kid surprised.

"Kid! You never told us you had a crush on her!" Patty smiles widely.

"Yeah, in fact, you never even told us you knew her." Liz looks at me and grimaces, grinding her teeth. I smile sweetly at both of them. Kid clears his throat.

"*Ahem* Sorry ladies... I never thought you would get to meet y/n, and in fact I didn't actually think you two would know her." I smile at Kid, then his eyes widen.

"In any case, how do you both even know her in the first place?" Liz and Patty try not to make eye contact with Kid, so I step in.

"Well... Lets just say, they tried mugging me, pissed me off, then payed for it." I say still smiling bright. Kid looks astonished and chuckles nervously.

"Yeah, sorry about that..." I look at Kid kind of surprised.

"Why are you apologizing for a mistake they made?" Kid shoves his hands in his pockets and gives me a sweet yet dorky looking smile.

"Because, their my weapons, therefore it's my responsibility for any harm they may have caused." My eyes widen, then altogether I burst out laughing.

"Kid, you can be such an idiot." Kid looks at me with wide eyes this time... That's right... He's never heard me laugh before. Kid slowly bows down to me.

"Forgive me for the formalities, but y/n your laugh is very beautiful. Would you do me the honor of escorting you inside to the classroom?" I slightly smile and decide to play along.

"Of course, and thank you for the lovely complement." With that, we walk inside with everyone else in front of us.

During class, I get interrupted by a flying piece of paper crumpled up into a ball. I look at it then grab a hold of it, slowly I unravel it to find in big hand written letters the word 'Hi' this confuses me a bit, as I look around I spot someone looking at me with a heart filled smile... Soul. Instead of writing back to him, I receive another note this time coming form my left, I unravel this one to see the word 'Who are you exactly?' and one last one that gets passed around the class until it reaches me and someone whispers in my ear "its for you" and I unravel this one to read 'don't be bothered by the other two. If I were you I'd stay away from them.' I roll my eyes at all three notes. Obviously one is from Soul and Kid. But who is the other one from?

After school I push my chair in and hand my assignments in. Professor Stein smiles at me as I walk through the door, he stops me in my mid tracks.

"uh, y/n, could you come for a second?" I turn and quickly walk over to him.

"I want to ask a favour of you, now I know that you're new and all but, as a new student you still need to have a strength test. And the fact that you are not shall we say, weak? Like all the other students around here, I want you to fight against me." I look surprised at the professor.
