Chapter 10 A Day Without Drama is a Day in Paradise

Last night was amazing. What I thought never would happen, actually happened! My mate wants me and her wolf wants mine. The unpredictable happened.

I stretched and looked around my room to see my mate still in her slumber. She was beautiful. Sleeping like an angel with her hair cascading down her face.

I picked up a few strands off her face when I heard the doorbell ring. I looked at the clock next to me and saw that it was only six. Who could be here at this time? A questionable look fell on my face.

Quickly I got up, threw my shirt on and ran out the door. Fixing my collar, I escalated down the stairs to the main hall where the front door was. The knocking became more persistent as I approached the double doors.

"I'm coming, I'm coming! What's the big rush?" I exclaimed.

Placing my hands on the handles, I pulled the doors and saw two merry faces that were as happy as ever.

With a grin on my face I greeted them.

"Welcome home mother and father."

"So son what have you been up to while we were gone?"my father asked.

Right now we were all in the kitchen. I had told my mom it wasn't necessary to cook breakfast, but she insisted.

"Um, well there was a pack meeting 2 weeks ago and I handled that just fine."

My father nodded in response. Should I tell them about my mate? She was from the enemy pack. Would they accept here? Well, here goes nothing.

"Father? Mother? I kinda need to tell you something",I muttered while looking at the pancakes my mother gave me.

"What's wrong? You seem a little tense", my father said.

I lifted my head to see both their eyes boring into mine, wanting an answer.

I looked down again and closed my eyes tightly. What am I thinking. It's not that I'm ashamed of my mate. It's just that I don't want my father to be disappointed of me. I have to tell them. It's the only way. She was gonna meet them sooner or later.

When I looked up, I saw my mother and father look in the opposite direction. What were they looking at? I looked up from behind them and to my bewilderment, I saw my mate standing at the edge of the kitchen frozen.

My mouth hanged open. Shit! What am I supposed to tell them now! Slowly I walked towards her while my parent's eyes dug into mine. Slowly I cleared my throat and decided to introduce them to each other. Here goes nothing.

"Rosaline, meet my mother Caroline and my father also known as the former Alpha of this pack- Alpha Maxim."

My mate quickly came out of her gaze and bowed to them. My mother had a slight smile on her lips while my father stood upright with a frown on his face.

"Mother. Father. Meet my mate Rosaline."

My mother's smile turned into a grin that showed her sparkling white pearls.

"Mate!"my mother cried while running up to her and enveloping her into a tight hug.

"It's nice to see you too," my mate choked out.

The look on her face when my mother was strangling her was priceless! It made me laugh so hard that I was gonna strangle myself!

Well someone was happy to see her. My father on the other side, was looking at her, brows furrowed. I looked at him and nodded my head, telling him that I would explain everything later. I knew that he was not happy with the sudden news.

But then something unimaginable happened. He was smiling. My father was smiling!

"I'm proud of you son. You have handled things greatly while we were gone. I thought I would have to help you to find your mate. But it looks like you're one step ahead of me. I knew you would make a great Alpha."

A reassuring smile was placed on my lips. I went up to my father and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"I couldn't have done it without you're help. I have used everything you have taught me to be a great Alpha."

My father in return patted me on the back and smiled.

He was a proud father. I made him happy.

"How could this day get any better," I whispered.

Just as I said that, my hearing picked up footsteps coming towards the kitchen and I knew who it was. Make that two different footsteps.

"Hey Derek my bro what's going on down here-"

A smile spread across my face. I couldn't wait for him to introduce his mate.
