Chapter 11 I Like This Life Better

Chapter 11

"H-hey Mr.Worthington back already?" Kevin stammered as I knew that he was going through complete shock. Just the look on his face was priceless.

"Hello Kevin. It is nice to meet you too," my father said highly unpleased at what he was seeing.

Kevin and his mate Alice were standing in the kitchen doorway holding hands. Now, in my point of view and in Rosalines', Kevin and Alice were mates and we already knew that. Now on the other side, my mother and father didn't know, so they were staring at him blankly like if he had gotten into a one night stand with an unknown girl from the pack.

You see Kevin was the type to do that actually. You know flirt with other women in the pack and all. When I met him at school the very first time, he was dragging almost one-third of the girls along with him like he was a magnet of attraction! He was a player alright. My father knew everyone on the pack. He knew Kevin and his inadequate behavior.

I didn't think my dad would have let me make Kevin my third in command, but at the end of the day, he accepted, but only on one circumstance. My father didn't want to see a slut running around the mansion. If he did, it would be straight up Kevin's fault and right now I had to break up the tension between them before a riot erupts.

"Uh, father meet Kevin's mate Alice. She's from our pack," I tried to explain saving the unwanted details for later. You know. The one about Alice's father.

I swear I saw my father's shoulders relax from what a looked like an incoming heart attack. He didn't want anything bad to happen that would ruin his reputation.  I didn't want that either. My mom put one hand on her chest and another on my dad's shoulders feeling relived.

A chuckled escaped my mouth giving a look of shock on Rosaline's face.

"Why are you laughing?" She asked.

"Well Kevin almost got in trouble and almost gave my parents a heart attack"

She put her hands on her hips saying "and you think that is funny?"

I really didn't want to answer that and instead I leaned closer to her ear.

"Did you know you look even more sexier when you are angry?" I said smirking.

A blush crept up her face and she turned bright red like a tomato. God was she adorable. And she was all mine.

A cough interrupted our little conversation."If you're all done there I would like to discuss about tonight," my father interrupted.

I looked up to see everyone staring at the both of us. Kevin was smiling ear to ear. That rat was really sneaky.

We both straightened up and went up to the kitchen counter where everyone took a stool and sat down.

"What's the matter dear?" my mother asked my father.

"Well I'm going to say that I'm proud of every one of you. It's not easy to find a soul mate. Some wolves live their lives alone because either the other half of them is never found or they are rejected. It's a big world out there and you woman are lucky to  find your mates especially you Rosaline. Finding out that you're an Alpha's mate is extremely lucky and it makes you a Luna. The care taker of the pack along with the Alpha. Together both of you will proudly rule this kingdom."

I looked towards Rosaline and found her looking at me and smiling. She was born Luna.

"And to this, I would like to celebrate. I have already informed everyone to tonight's party that I have arranged for you-Derek and Kevin for finding your mates."

A party? Awesome! The days keep on getting better! What's gonna be next? Our marriage? A smile crept up my lips. I couldn't wait.

"But honey we don't have enough time! We need to dress up and the whole house needs decoration!" my mother exclaimed.

"Do not worry my dear I have arranged everything. The celebration is at 8:00 pm. The only thing we have to do is dress up.

My father just got here and he was doing so much. I mean, he just got here. I should of said something. Weren't they at least  a little tired?

"Now come on. Everyone get dressed. It's a big day today," my father said smiling.

"Woohoo! Partay!" Kevin shouted.

We all turned to Kevin and say him prancing his way out the kitchen with Alice.

"Oh sorry. My bad," he said as he poked his head into the kitchen seeing my dad shake his head.

"Come on kitten lets go," I said to Rosaline as I took her hand in mine and skid addled out the kitchen towards our room.
