I rolled behind the dumpster and held my gun up. The half vampire jumped twenty feet in the air and landed up the dumpster, blood falling from his lips and a hiss coming out of his mouth. Some spittle landed on my cheek and I wiped it off with the back of my hand. My gun was pointed at the vampire's forehead. His dark eyes stared of the gun as it gleamed in the little moonlight that drifted from the rooftops. Why was I always fighting these damn things in the alleyways?

I lowered the gun and smiled, my teeth looking sharp in my reflection. The vampire was lesser than I was so it read the threat in my eyes. I've never tried this before but I thought what the hell. I heard the mind control of lesser vampires was easy, even if you never did it before. "Get off the dumpster." My voice was low, and sounded like there were multiple behind my own. "Go over to the other side of the ally and put your back to the wall. Good. Now, where is Lucas Trust?

"Three miles south of here in a large white building."

"Thank you." I cocked the gun and the vampire's chest became lunchmeat. I blew on the barrel and fixed my dress. It was tight but lose enough it didn't cling to my curves. I wiggled to make myself more comfortable. I clicked my way out of my ally and looked to my currant bodyguard. His face was white with sheer terror. "Sorry, Jefferson. Are you sure you want this job?" He nodded curtly and I slipped him a hundred dollar bill. He stuffed it in his pocket.

"There is a stain on your dress, Miss Adrian." I looked down and sure enough. A blood, stain, right where the vampire was leaning over me. I sighed and slid into the car. The shorts and tank top I hand under the dress sure did come in handy. "Unzip me, Jefferson." He knew the drill, having been my guard for four days now. Longer than most. He must really need the money, if he kept coming back. I slipped out of the dress and kicked my heels off. "Hey, go three miles south. I'll tell you what house to stop at." My shoes and socks were in a cubbyhole Nelson would never find.

Jefferson crawled into the driver seat and drove. I didn't say anything to him. I couldn't. I had nothing to say to him that would comfort him in any way. I felt sorry for him, not knowing what to think about me or what I do. I sighed and slipped my shoes on. Poor, poor man. "Here! Hit the brakes!" I screamed and slammed into the seat. I crawled out of the car and hit the ground running.

I skidded to a halt at the front door and knocked. Lucas appeared at the door instantly. "Adrian, darling', you've returned." He smiled.

I bared my teeth. "I think I might be sick." I pushed him aside. I'd rather kill him out of Jefferson's view. He wouldn't like that much, seeing as he just watched me slay three vampires in ten minutes. "Listen here, Lucas..." His breath was crawling down my throat and suddenly my "lady parts" started to tingle. Weird, Nelson has never been able to do this to me. Lucas kissed up my neck and nibbled on my jaw line. "Stop."

"I don't think I can. You see, I've been waiting for you for nearly five years." He pushed me up against a wall, so he was against my back, his "man parts" growing and hardening again me. I tried not to shiver. "I've changed you for a reason. And that reason is this." His hand slipped between my thighs and I sighed, a groan building in my throat.

I shook my head to clear it. "No...no...Lucas, stop."

"But you don't want me to."

"Yes, yes I do. Stop, Lucas." I shook my head again and pushed off the wall, shoving him back. My knife slipped out of his holder and I snatched it, only to have it taken from me.

"Tsk, tsk, Adrian. A knife? Did you come here to try and kill me?"

"No. I came here to kill you." I whipped my gun out and fired. Lucas dodged and managed to get me toward the door. I was shoved out.

Lucas’s voice drifted through the crack in the door. "Don't come back until you have come to the conclusion that you wish to sleep with me. Goodbye, Adrian." I fired a few more times before I stomped back to the car.

"Jefferson, take me home."
