Dark Side

Ten:

A loud growl escaped the Bears mouth. Harry slowly turned around, too scared to move a muscle.

"Play dead! Wait! No I think you scare it away! No! You run!" Harry took off as fast as he could on his long ass legs.

"Don't run!" I shouted after him, but it was too late, that bear was chasing Harry like a dog chasing a car. Damn, that bear was fast.

"He's a goner." Melody murmured. She turned around to help Auden and Louis, while I just watched Harry.

He stopped running. He actually stopped, to help a squirrel. That boy would not survive a horror movie.

Harry picked up the squirrel in his hands. As soon as he lifted the squirrel from the ground, it began to bite him and he dropped it yelling out in pain.

"If you're going to be like that, the goodbye!" Harry shouted at the squirrel before realizing he barely had time to run. He stared at the bear as he ran, but didn't pay any attention to the branch in front of him. Dumbass.

The bear began to claw at him, while growling. Harry screamed under the bear's paws. I could hear the ripped of his shirt, and what I hope isn't flesh. Walk away, I thought to myself. Walk away! But my feet were dragging me TO him.

My shaky hands picked up a pine cone from the ground, and aimed it at the bear. Harry could now be heard crying through the bear's growls.

The bear of course, didn't stop at the first pine cone. After running out of pined ones, I went on to rocks, which really got his attention. He stalked off slowly, looking back a couple of times. Harry still laid on the floor motionless, but quietly sniffling.

"I've been molested by a bear." He stated, stiff as a board.

"Well that's as much action you'll ever get. Hope you savored the moment." I joked, but he still kept still.

"I've been robbed of my innocence." I tried to sit him up, but he refused.

"What innocence?" He glared at me.  Harry stared at the sky, too stubborn to look away or even get up. "Fuck me." He groaned.

"I'll pass."

"I should just leave you here." My fingers pulled in and out aggressively.

"Almost. " Amy groaned. The cold air sent chills down my body.

"How did you convince me to do this?" She rolled her eyes. "Stop moving! You're making it harder."

"Well it hurts! we have to finish before any one comes back." She closed her eyes, and trying pulling it herself.

"It'll tear if I pull any harder. Not that I don't want it to tear, I really want it to tear. Why can't you do this yourself?" My scalp was beginning to sweat.

"I cant do this myself. I need you help me." She begged. "This branch is really uncomfortable."

"We should just cut out." I concluded.

"No! Just keep trying!" I let out a loud huff before pulling continuing to pull.

"You either lose the hair or the head. Which one?" She gasped and looked at me with wide, sad eyes. Tears began to brim her eyes as she whimpered.

"Fine. Just be careful." Amy stuck out her bottom lip and scrunched her eyebrows.

"With the scalp or hair?" I joked, partially. She rolled her eyes and leaned back into the bush, crossing her arms, over her chest. "I'll be back with scissors."
