**Deona's POV**

"Say you don't fuck with nobody else, and I'm the only one. Say you'll never ever hurt me and you put this on your son. Pro-". Ann Marie blasted through my room on my Jam Classic speaker. "Tell me lies, tell me lies.", I sang along with her. Since my doctor's appointment, Takevin and I have been conversing.

Flashback:
Dr.T: Deona, I wanna be with you. Help you with your daughter. Don't look like your baby daddy around anyway. He hasn't been to any of your appointments. Give me a chance.

Me: Takevin, U Don't Know My Story. U Doing Too Much. If U Wanna Be With Me Juss Say That. Leave My Child & Baby Daddy Out Of It. What Do They Have 2 Do With U Being Interested In Me?

Dr.T: Being in a relationship with u, comes with your baby and baby's father. Ain't no way around dat.

Flashback Over

I unwrapped my hair and combed it down. I continued singing as I put on my purple, strapless, high low dress. I looked in my closet for my silver sandals.

Today, I was treating my big cousin Jamia, to lunch at Roscoe's Diner.  "Ma, I'm 'bouta leave. Where's the keys?", I said walking down through the living room. Momma sat on the couch with her glasses on watching Maury.

"Girl, yo lil stomach poking out there.", Moma said smiling and handing me the keys. "Yes, ma'am I know. I can't wait to have this lil girl. Four more months to go.", I huffed. "Love you and be careful in my car.", Moma yelled behind me. "Love you too Ma and I will.", I responded walking to the car.

The sun was beaming in my eyes as I started the car up. I plugged in my aux cord and turned on my music. I pulled out the driveway and headed to get Jamia.

When I pulled up to the house, Jamia was standing outside with James and some boy. Jamia noticed me and grabbed her purse off the porch. "Aye James, tell daddy I'm gone. Bye Lamar. Don't y'all get in no trouble today.", Jamia said as she got comfortable in the passenger seat.

Not 10 minutes later, we arrived at Roscoe's. "Hello! Welcome to Roscoes!", Olivia, the owner's daughter said outta routine. "Oh hey, Deona.", she spoke as she realized it was me.

"Hey, girl. How you been?", I asked taking a seat next to the window. Jamia sat across from me pulling out her phone.

"I'm good. Ready to have this lil boy.", she said rubbing her stomach. "When are you due?", She asked while I was looking over the menu.

"December 23rd. When are you due?", I asked as Olivia smiled. "Um, August 28th. I only have a week left.", She stated.

"Yes, ma'am. I bet you can't wait!. I said smiling.

"Well lemme see if daddy needs anything. Nice talking to you Dee.", Olivia said giving me a hug.

"You too.", I smiled as she walked away.

"Are y'all ready to order?", the waitress, named Rachel, asked walking over to our table. Jamia sat her phone down and scanned through the menu.

"I'll have the honey chipotle wings, smothered fries and a strawberry swirl sprite.", she said picking her phone back up.

"And I'll have the baby back ribs in the dr pepper sauce. A Ceasar's salad, ranch on the side, and no tomatoes. And can I have a side of mashed potatoes and sweet corn.", I ordered. Rachel smiled.

"And what would you like to drink?", she asked.

"Uhhh, I'll have the rainbow sprite.", I smiled back.

"Okay, your drinks will be back shortly.

"Dee, you ordered the entire menu. Fat ass!", Jamia laughed. I mugged her causing her to laugh harder.

"Well, I am eating for two.", I smirked.

Jamia pushed her phone aside as Rachel came back with our drinks. "You know, she looks very familiar," Jamia noted looking at Rachel as she walked away. "She was in our grade until she dropped out in like 6th-grade cuz she got pregnant. Everybody used to call her Chelly though.", I explained.

-30 Minutes Later-

"Omg Deona! You ate all that food.", Jamia laughed as I wiped my hands and mouth.

"Yes, Mia! I, I mean, we were hungry.", I laughed looking at my stomach.

I looked at the time and it was 6:45 pm. "Gotta be somewhere?", a voice came from beside me. I looked up to see Takevin and Lamar. "Hey, Lamar.", Jamia said as she got up and kissed him.

"So we not speaking?", Takevin asked me.

"Wait, y'all know each other?" Jamia asked confused. I looked at Jamia and walked away. I ain't got time for this.

I might be over-reacting but he came at me wrong. He just jumped all in my personal business.

"Deona, I'm sorry. Okay? I didn't mean to offend you in any way. I just wanted to be there for you.", Takevin said walking up behind me. I kept walking towards the car, not saying anything. "Aight Deona. I'll leave you alone." I heard footsteps fade away. I got in the car and started crying. My emotions are all over the place.

**Camry's POV**

"First you get that money then you get that power." Young Thug blasted through my car as I drove to Roscoe's Diner to get us something to eat. "Hit em with that blocka-blocka, nigga get back." I sang along as I pulled up in the parking lot. I turned off the car and got out.

"Before I go without a sack, I swag pack." I rapped walking through the cars.

"I spoiled my bitch and now she acting like a brat.", a familiar voice rapped from behind me.

I turned around and saw Kordell walking with a group of guys. I kept walking and rapping. "P*ssy nigga better not look back or else I'm killing em.", the whole group said with me.

"Dang. I didn't know this was a sing-a-long.", I said as one of the dudes opened the door. "First you get that money then you get that power.", we all rapped as we entered.

"Hello. Welcome to Roscoe's. Feel free to order the 7 o'clock special.", Rachel said giving the guys menus. "Camry, your order is ready.", she said.

I nodded and turned to face Kordell. "So how have you been?", I asked. He licked his lips and smiled. "I'm doing a lil better now that you're here. Naw but for real. My sister taking it hard though. I'm doing a lot better." His face remained plain but I could hear the excitement in his voice. "That's good!", I smiled as Rachel handed me my food. I handed her a 20 dollar bill but Kordell stopped me. "Put it on my tab.", he said as he smiled.

"Thank you, Kordell." I hugged him. "No problem. Now can I get your number?" He smelled like that Curve cologne that Deandre used to wear. Tears began to form in my eyes. "Well, I gotta get to my baby girls." I scurried out the door.

As soon as I made it to my car, I burst into tears. I thought I was getting better. The little things are starting to get to me now.

"Dang, what I do to you?", Kordell came beside my window as I cranked my car up. "Wait what's wrong?". I wiped my tears dry and played with my fingers.

"Lemme see your phone so I can put my number in it.", I said. He dug in his pockets and I started reaching for his phone.

I typed my name and number in and passed it back to him. "You still didn't tell me what was wrong.", Kordell said looking concerned.

"Text me and I'll tell you. See ya later.", I said pulling off.
