Hey guys! I'm back to this wonderful site. I'm sorry for not updating at all.

Jane's POV:

I still feel lost. There's just so much confusion right now. I, Jane Daw--No, Melissa Hastings, had a life before I became 'Jane Dawson'. This is amazing!

So, it's just like those cliche stories where the protagonist starts off as a new person and then gets shocked with the fact that they had a different life in the past.

I had a 16-year-old brother, a boyfriend who is drop-dead gorgeous, and two parents who happen to be dead..... I feel depressed just thinking about all this. I wish I knew.

Losing your memories isn't an easy problem. It feels strange! Like someone inserted a new set of memories in my brain!

God, it's 4 am and I still didn't get any sleep. I wonder if anyone is still awake. I stood up and walked downstairs to get hot chocolate, only to see Mrs. Kydd and Joshua talking.

Josh? I thought he was supposed to be back at his motel.

"Why did you come back? You're supposed to be back at your motel." I could hear Mrs. Kydd's voice all the way from the stairs.

"Mrs. Kydd, you can't tell Melissa anything, or even Lukas. You know that, right?" What? Josh, what the hell are you keeping from us?

"Yes, I know." Mrs. Kydd just obeyed and started sulking. "If you ever tell any of them, or a single soul, you know what you're getting from me." Did Josh just.... threaten her?!

"Joshua, I don't understand why you have to be like this. It's not bad if they know. They'll forgive y--" Josh stood up so quickly, "No, they won't!" His breathing sped up. "Can't you see how much they are suffering?! Because of what I did?!

He paused for a little while to catch his breathe, "Don't you dare tell them. As much as you think they are fine, and that they'll forgive me, just DON'T." Joshua stormed out of the house, leaving Mrs. Kydd scared and sad.

I decided to reveal myself to Mrs. Kydd, gesturing that I was there, listening to their conversation the entire time. "It's okay, Mrs. Kydd. You don't have to say anything. I just came here for some hot chocolate."

I felt so much pity for Mrs. Kydd. I wanted to comfort her so badly, I wanted to ask what it is that they're keeping from Luke and I. I wanted to know.

As I was preparing my drink, I could hear soft sobs from Luke's mom. I felt myself breaking slowly for her sake. "Mrs. Kydd, please go get some rest. It's still around 4, it's so late for you to still be awake."

"It's fine, dear. This happens a lot. I barely get enough sleep anyways." She chuckled. "Not this time, Mrs. Kydd. Please." I looked at her until she decided to give in, "Fine, I will go ahead dear. Don't forget to turn off the lights when you go back up."

As she was about to walk up the stairs, she paused and looked at me, "Whatever you heard a while ago, whatever it is that Joshua is keeping from you both, you will know soon. Just not now, okay dear?"

I nodded as a response and smiled as she waved goodnight. Luke must feel really lucky for having such a kind and loving mother. I don't even remember how that felt. My only memory is of my current, harsh mom.

Without my consent, my eyes have decided to drop without letting me go back to my room first.

Luke's POV:

I woke up the next morning with a scary dream, and it had Ja-- I mean, Melissa in it. It was so vague, but I remember driving a car, and then lights just flashed in front of us.
